Full-time apprenticeship supervisor for pedagogical assistant students in the adult sector

We are seeking a full-time training supervisor who is passionate about the education sector like us, and who wants to further develop and strengthen the training of our pedagogical assistant students.

As a training supervisor you will play a central role in supporting the students' educational journey within the specialized area with the target group of adults and elderly. You will become an important collaboration partner for both students, training locations and colleagues and have the opportunity to influence the development of the area.

You will become part of the Education & Recruitment department. The department has the overall responsibility for supporting and setting the strategic direction for the educational task in Leisure Health Care & Social, and the department is responsible for a number of cross-cutting recruitment and engagement initiatives. We are a department with a good working environment characterized by collaboration, development and quality.

You will become part of our new PA team, and we are currently in the process of finding a leader for the team.

We are seeking a professionally strong and engaged training supervisor who is motivated to develop the guidance and the learning environments in which the students participate. You are passionate about supporting each student's academic development and thrive in an environment where quality, collaboration and development go hand in hand.

Close collaboration on the students' learning and development

As a training supervisor you will be part of a close collaboration with our current training supervisor in the pedagogical area.

Together you bring your professional skills and experiences into play to ensure pedagogical assistant students a coherent and developing educational program. You will spar with each other in everyday life, coordinate efforts and work purposefully to support both students and training sites.

Together you will work, among other things, to

• ensure high quality in students' training programs
• support students' learning, well-being and academic development
• develop and strengthen learning environments at the training sites
• build and maintain strong collaborations with training sites and partners
• contribute to the continued development of the educational area

You will become part of a professionally strong team where knowledge sharing, sparring and joint task solving are a natural part of daily life. At the same time you will have the opportunity to independently drive tasks and apply your competences.

In addition, you will have close collaboration with the education counselor for the educational assistant education, who contributes to shaping the direction for the area.

We expect you to

• have completed education as a pedagogical assistant or pedagogue
• have experience with guidance and education
• have experience within adult social and/or health and elderly sector
• be positive and have good relational competences
• thrive both working independently and working closely with others
• be skilled at communicating both orally and in writing
• be able to use IT at user level
• be curious and feel comfortable in processes where we become wiser along the way
• work in a structured and appreciative way
• be open and approachable
• wish to be a full-time supervisor

The position is 37 hours per week, and you should expect to travel around the municipality when visiting students and training sites.

Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local pay formation.
