About the job

Physiotherapist for health and care places in Nyborg Do you want to help create strong rehabilitation pathways close to the citizen's daily life?

As a physiotherapist at the upcoming health and care places in Nyborg you will have an important role in citizens' rehabilitation journey – and at the same time the opportunity to help shape a new regional offer in Citizen-Centered Health at Odense University Hospital.

About the health and care places

From January 1, 2027, Citizen-Centered Health at Odense University Hospital will take over responsibility for the regional health and care places in Nyborg.

The places are aimed at citizens with a need for health professional interventions, treatment, care and rehabilitation for a period. Citizens primarily come from a hospital department, and the goal for most is to return to their own home.

In Nyborg, an offer with 20 places is established, where occupational therapists and physiotherapists, nurses and social- and health-care assistants work closely together. Our common goal is to help the citizen return as best as possible to their own life with dignity, efficient pathways and high professionalism.

We believe rehabilitation succeeds best when the citizen is an active participant, and when the professional disciplines are brought into play across.

Your role as a physiotherapist

You will become a central part of the multidisciplinary team around the citizen.

Your tasks will among other things include

  • examine, support and assess the citizen's functional ability and rehabilitation needs
  • plan and carry out individual physiotherapy interventions
  • work purposefully with mobility, functional ability and training
  • contribute to multidisciplinary assessments and joint plans for the citizen's pathway
  • collaborate with citizens, relatives and relevant partners
  • document and follow up on physiotherapy interventions
  • contribute to development of professional practice and workflows.

We imagine that you

Are a licensed physiotherapist and thrive in a daily life where professionalism, independence and collaboration are important.

In addition we would like you to

  • have an overview of the whole citizen's pathway
  • thrive with complex and composite problems
  • work structurally and can prioritise your tasks
  • actively contribute with your professionalism in the multidisciplinary collaboration
  • have a desire to help build a new workplace and a shared culture.

Experience with rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex citizen pathways or cross-sector collaboration is an advantage but not a requirement.

With us you get

  • a meaningful everyday life with varied citizen pathways
  • opportunity for professional development and sparring
  • close collaboration with among others nurses, social- and health care assistants and occupational therapists
  • opportunity to influence the physiotherapeutic efforts
  • an workplace focused on quality, coherence and citizen needs.
