Gardener for Technical and Logistics at Aalborg University Hospital, Hobro

Then Technical and Logistics are looking for an employee who will be part of the management of outdoor areas at Aalborg University Hospital, Hobro.

Technical and Logistics is part of the service block at Aalborg University Hospital, which handles renovation and installation projects at the hospital, operation and maintenance of all hospital building stock and technical installations, machines and medical-technical equipment, as well as maintenance of associated areas and buildings. Aalborg University Hospital is spread across 8 different sites in the region.

Our permanent gardener has, after many years in the labor market, chosen to retire. We are therefore seeking an employee who wants to take care of the operation of our outdoor areas in Hobro, as well as participate in tasks inside the building; the position is full-time.

Tasks will include maintenance of outdoor areas and may have the following characteristics:

• Mowing and pruning of hedges, shrubs and trees
• Snow removal and anti-slip measures in the winter season
• Participation in internal maintenance of machines and tools
• General weed control
• Care of grassy areas
• Pest control
• External and internal building maintenance
• Yard work
• Minor landscaping
• Care of "wild with purpose" areas
• Other incidental tasks in the Technical Department

Qualifications and personal qualities

It is expected that you have experience in caring for green areas; it is not important that you have a gardening education. The most important thing is that you can see yourself in the job and want to work with maintenance of outdoor areas.

You are expected to

• Be happy, positive and have a good work culture.
• Be able to plan your own day and work independently.
• Be ready to take on tasks that may not necessarily fall within your area of expertise.
• Possess a valid driving license for cars up to 3500 kg (B).
• Have experience with operating and various machines such as tractors, tool carriers, smaller gardening machines.
