General worker sought for Roads, Parks and Properties

The job mainly consists of maintenance of roads and green areas.

We are out among the citizens, so we expect you to be able to handle being our 'face to the public'.

If you enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather and helping to optimise the way tasks are solved, then you are the one we are looking for.

For all Road, Park and Property employees, it applies that regardless of what you are primarily employed for, everyone must be prepared to perform the tasks that are needed.

We expect that you for this position

• You have the right hands-on skills.
• You have knowledge of machinery and can operate various machines including Zero Turn, tractor, mini excavator and sludge suction unit.
• You can work both independently and in groups, and maintain an overview in a busy day where situations arise requiring flexibility.
• You must be prepared to become part of a winter contingency.
• You are solution-oriented,
• You have a good mood and are cooperative.
• You have a B driving license and preferably BE.
• You have basic PC knowledge.
• You can use apps on your phone for time tracking, tasks, refueling, etc.
• You are willing to take relevant courses and training.
• That you have the right attitude and approach to deliver effectively during your working time and be able to plan and coordinate your workday.

Salary and employment

The position is a permanent full-time appointment of 37 hours per week.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation.

The salary is set after individual negotiation based on Agreement on tradespeople, skilled gardeners, skilled drivers, etc.

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between DKK 28,000-33,000 per month (excluding pension), depending on experience/seniority.

In addition there will be the possibility of negotiating individual allowances based on relevant competencies.

Note: Employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record

In Langeland Municipality there is smoke-free working time as of 1 July 2023
