Gl. Åby Dagtilbud seeks a support pedagogue/inclusion pedagogue for the day care center – permanent position at 37 hours per week

Gl. Åby Daycare seeks a support pedagogue/inclusion pedagogue who is strong in relational work with children who need extra adult support. This involves a number of hours in classrooms and in the institution, where you work in close relation with individual children and groups of children. In addition, you shall, together with the daycare's management and staff, work on developing our pedagogical learning environments in the departments. This is to the benefit of all children's well-being and participation in the community. We hope you can join the position on December 1, 2025.

The daycare consists of 9 departments - three nurseries, two kindergartens and four integrated departments.

We are seeking a trained pedagogue who has extensive knowledge and experience in working with neuro-pedagogy and special pedagogy right down to practical application and interaction with the child/children. You must be able to guide and support staff on the task of creating predictability for our children/child group, and we work from the child-centered view that "children do the best they can".

It is essential that you are passionate about the target group and have substantial practical experience that you can apply when you work with and guide experienced colleagues. You should be eager to work in different departments in the daycare, depending on which department has children and staff calling on your competencies, adaptability and professionalism. We strive for you to be attached to a department for a long period.

You may have assignments in different departments at the same time, ideally a maximum of 2 departments at a time. It is the leadership team who prioritizes where there is the most need for your input. It is important that you are curious about others' practices and that you want to lead, also in relation to the child group you are in.

You will have a sparring community together with the daycare's pedagogical supervisor, our current support pedagogue and inclusion adviser, so that children, parents and staff experience a coherent thread in the interventions that are initiated.

We also expect

• That you have broad practical experience from the 0-6 year age range.
• That you have experience in translating neuro-pedagogical theory into practice.
• That you have a special pedagogy profile and have basic knowledge of attachment theories.
• That you have an in-depth understanding of children's general well-being, development and learning for the 0 – 6-year age group.
• That you have experience with visualised structured pedagogy and are happy to spar with the rest of the staff on professional issues.
• That you can support the staff's learning environments in the work of creating inclusive learning communities in practice, that you can lead the way, stand beside, and support from behind.
• That you have experience working multidisciplinary with among others PPR, child therapy and social workers (relational welfare).
• That you have an overview and are good at structuring your day and your tasks.
• That you are good at collaborating with the pedagogical leaders and staff in the individual departments.
• That you can work databased with action plans, goals and evaluation.
• That through your work you teach others so that we see a difference in the core task for both children, staff and parents.
• That you can work structured with goals, both for a group and for an individual child, as well as develop action plans, implement them, and evaluate them. Preferably in close collaboration with staff and parents, so that it comes to life in everyday practice.

Salary and terms of employment

This is a full-time position. Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination is made after negotiation with the union organization having negotiable rights based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary determination
