Our SFO's approach to a good child environment takes its starting point from the “UNICEF Rights School” and the collaboration with the local community. SFO staff work closely with the lower school to create a coherent school day. There will therefore also be hours in the school part.

This is a 37-hour-per-week position with start as soon as possible and by no later than January 1, 2027.

Who are we Peter Willemoesskolen is a mid-sized public school in the town of Assens. The school has about 220 pupils distributed across 0-9th grade, and a special class as well as an SFO. We value diversity and inclusivity, and we have a share of bilingual pupils and children in vulnerable positions.

In June 2021 we were certified as UNICEF Rights School – the first of its kind in Assens Municipality.

There is a good collaboration with the parents and the school board at the school. We emphasize a strong pedagogical collaborative environment, where all staff share responsibility for the children, and we offer good physical facilities both indoors and outdoors. We have, among other things, creative workshops, a motor skills room, gym/hall, music room, “outdoor workshop” and a multi-court etc.

Around the school there are many lovely natural areas with many activity opportunities, and a short distance to town, forest and beach.

• can work inclusively with respect to children and parents

Salary and terms of employment Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the rules on local pay formation.
