About the job

Gribskov Municipality

Repost - Special Educational PPR staff member for flexible school offer close to the general education area in Gribskov Municipality

Close to the children, close to practice

Do you want to help create strong, inclusive communities in the public school?

Do you have special educational knowledge and a desire to work at the intersection of school and PPR?

Then we have an exciting position for you, where we will explore new paths together.

About the position

Gribskov Municipality has established a flexible special educational school offer for students who need additional support but who can still benefit from being part of the school's general community. The offer is organized close to the school's other learning environments and creates a daily life with both structure and participation opportunities.

You will become part of the pedagogical team around a small group of children and will participate in a practice-oriented structure where special educational knowledge and general pedagogical collaboration go hand in hand. The goal is to support children's well-being, learning and development, in a daily life where they meet with positive expectations and have access to both individual support and community.

Your role as a PPR staff member

You will be employed in Gribskov Municipality's PPR and have a base in an interdisciplinary team, but your daily practice will take place at one or more of the municipality's schools. Here you are a fixed part of the team around the special educational offer, where you work closely with teachers, pedagogues and management.

You contribute with your special educational professional knowledge in both planning and daily practice and are a consistent adult for the children. You help create safe frameworks and support the children's ability to make active and independent choices, and you help ensure that the children feel seen, heard and understood.

Close to practice - close to collaboration

In Gribskov we prioritize that PPR staff are visible and accessible in children's everyday life. Your presence makes it possible to respond early and with qualified expertise—in collaboration with the team you are part of. You will join a professionally strong community, where there is a focus on coordinated efforts, interdisciplinary reflection and the development of inclusive learning environments.

You contribute to ensuring smooth transitions for children and young people and work within a framework where communities with room for diversity and strong parental collaboration are central benchmarks.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has solid special educational experience - preferably from the school sector
  • Has knowledge of children with, for example, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD or emotional difficulties
  • Works in a structured way and has strong relational skills
  • Thrives in a flexible environment with both independent and collaborative tasks
  • Wants to work closely with practice while being part of a strong professional community in PPR

We offer

  • An innovative and meaningful position at the intersection of general and special education
  • A practice-oriented daily life with close collaboration with school and parents
  • A cross-professional community in PPR focusing on sparring, supervision and professional development
  • Possibility to work in a municipality that prioritizes early intervention, coherence and well-being
  • An organization with clear values and ambitions for children and young people's lives and participation

Gribskov Municipality’s view of children and young people

In Gribskov Municipality we work from a common view of children and young people and a common policy for children and young people, which is both value-based and binding. Our shared view of children and young people and our shared policy apply to all children and young people—and invite parents, employees and the local community to take part in the responsibility for well-being, learning and development.

As an employee you become an important part of a joint effort where we

  • Create safety and well-being for all children and young people, with particular attention to those who need extra support
  • Support communities with room for diversity, where adults have the competencies to see and acknowledge everyone
  • Promote curiosity, play and learning, where children develop both academic and social skills
  • Ensure the democratic formation of children and young people, with focus on responsibility, influence and engagement
  • Create coherence and good transitions in collaboration with parents and professionals across
  • Think in sustainable solutions—pedagogical, social and environmental

Our shared view of children and young people and our policy are the foundation on which you will build your practice.
