We are seeking a professional leader who will have special responsibility for our work with forms of participation, complex child cases and the cross-cutting coordination around children and young people.

Here you will play a central role in qualifying, coordinating and leading the efforts that will create the best opportunities for the individual child and the community.

Your task

You will, among other things, have responsibility to

• coordinate and create an overview of child cases
• support the work with action plans, interventions and follow-up, so that agreements are translated into concrete practice
• lead and develop the school’s forms of participation
• support staff and teams in pedagogical and didactic issues
• ensure coherence in the collaboration between school, home, PPR and other relevant partners
• contribute to the development of the school’s inclusive practice and strong child communities.

You should be able to enter a case, create an overview and direction and together with staff, parents and partners find realistic and professionally well-founded solutions.

Who are you?

We are looking for a leader with strong pedagogical and preferably special education expertise, who has experience with child cases and interprofessional collaboration.

You are structured and clear, but also curious and relationally strong. You can handle disagreement and complexity and have an eye for both the child’s needs, the community and the school’s overall possibilities.

You do not need to have all the answers upfront. Instead, you must be able to ask the good questions, create direction and follow up, so that we move from discussion to action together.

About Bagsværd School

Bagsværd School is located in Gladsaxe Municipality and has about 730 pupils and 80 staff. The school is three-streamed and organized into two divisions: 0th-5th grade and 6th-9th grade.

We have a strong focus on professionalism, well-being and inclusive learning environments. Collaboration between teachers, pedagogues, co-teachers, interprofessional partners and management is a central part of our daily life.

With the 2027 budget agreement, Gladsaxe Municipality will strengthen public schools significantly, including a two-teacher system in grades 1-3 and additional leadership resources at the schools.
