Head of Department for Skovgården Nursing Home and Temporary Placements

We are seeking a department head who thrives in close contact with residents, staff and relatives and who is motivated to make a real difference.

As the department head at Skovgården you will be an important part of our management team, which consists of the center manager and two department heads. We work closely together and share a high professional pride, a strong collegial community and a common ambition to create the best possible framework for both residents and staff. The bed types are respite beds, waiting beds and assessment beds. You will share responsibility with the other department head for

• Daily staff leadership and staff development for about 45 employees.
• Ensuring well-being, professional quality and development in a daily life where presence, relationships and respect are in focus.
• Planning, coordination and prioritization in everyday life
• Recruitment, hiring and staff interviews
• Handling daily challenges and cross-department collaboration
• Administrative and organizational tasks

We imagine that you

• Have leadership experience, preferably from the elderly sector
• Are clear, present and appreciative in your leadership style
• Can create structure and overview in a changing everyday life
• Have strong collaboration and communication skills
• Are passionate about working with quality of life and dignified elderly care
• Can motivate, engage and develop staff
• Both work strategically and closely with daily operations
