Healthcare professional consultant (nurse) for development project at Thorupgården (fixed-term project position)

We are seeking an experienced health professional consultant for a fixed-term project position from January 1, 2027 to September 30, 2027, where the task will be to support and further develop the health professional practice at Thorupgården in close cooperation with staff and management.

The project position is based on daily practice. The goal is not only to develop new workflows, but to ensure that professional standards, methods and organizational requirements are translated into solutions that work in the everyday work of employees and can be sustained after the project period ends.

Purpose of the project

The project shall contribute to creating greater structure, consistency and transparency in the health professional practice at Thorupgården. A central part of the task will also be to support employees professionally, so the development occurs close to practice with a focus on learning, reflection and usable solutions. At the end of the project period, relevant workflows and professional structures must be described, implemented and, as far as possible, anchored in the organization.

Your tasks

As a health professional consultant you get a practice-oriented role, where you both must be able to identify development needs, contribute to concrete solutions and support implementation together with the employees. You will, among other things, work with

• development and quality assurance of health professional workflows
• structure and systematics around medication management and patient safety
• quality and consistency in the health professional documentation
• review of existing practice and identification of areas with a need for development
• development and implementation of concrete professional tools and workflows
• professional sparring and guidance of employees
• facilitation of professional reflection and learning
• support of employees' health professional competencies
• translation of laws, professional standards, supervisory requirements and managerial decisions into usable practice
• ongoing follow-up on whether the initiated changes work in everyday life
• documentation and evaluation of the project's results and recommendations for the further effort

A practice-oriented project role

The position does not involve personnel management. Instead you will have a central professional function and must be able to act as a bridge between management and employees. This requires that you can work independently on the project's development tasks and be available for daily professional sparring.

We are therefore looking for a person who can create professional direction without having to lead through formal authority. You should be able to lead in practice, take the necessary professional discussions and at the same time create involvement and ownership among the employees.

About you

We are looking for someone who is trained as a nurse and has solid experience from psychiatry, social psychiatry or a similar area.

We place particular emphasis on the following

• have substantial practical experience and a strong health professional profile
• have experience with medication management and patient safety
• work in a structured way and can create overview in complex issues
• can identify development needs and translate them into concrete solutions
• can teach, guide and spar with employees with different professional backgrounds
• can facilitate professional discussions – even when existing practice is challenged
• can create learning and development without losing sight of employees' everyday work
• communicate clearly and can function as a link between management and employees
• can work independently and drive a development project forward
• have an eye for both the concrete professional detail and the overall organizational task

Project period

The position is fixed-term and runs from January 1, 2027 to September 30, 2027. The project period should be used for both discovery, development, implementation and anchoring. It is therefore essential that you can not only develop new solutions, but also follow them into practice and adjust them in collaboration with staff and management.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.
