Særcenter Øst is a specialized offering with round-the-clock staffing for 20 asylum seekers with various and complex psychiatric and physical diagnoses. At the center we have strong health-professional ambitions and are driven by deep humanity. Our core task is to support residents in returning safely and with dignity to the ordinary system - when it makes sense.

Your role and your tasks

You will become a key person in the health-professional effort and an important part of our interdisciplinary team. As a contact person you take on a central role in the work with the individual resident and in creating coherence in the effort.

Your tasks will include

• Relationships work focusing on development and well-being of residents
• Documentation and health and social professional documentation
• Close collaboration with colleagues from several professions, including nurses and pedagogues
• Observations and nursing actions, medication management and support for treatment

We are looking for you who

• Are a nurse or a social and health care assistant (SSA) – preferably with experience from psychiatry, housing support or home care.
• Are secure in yourself and handle your role with high professionalism, responsibility and good collaboration skills
• Keep calm and overview in unpredictable situations
• Are good at both documentation and relationship work
• Can navigate and act professionally in a system and a daily life that may be different from what you are used to

The practical

You will be employed under a state collective agreement with FOA or DSR, depending on your background.

Start date: 1 January 2027

Working hours: 37 hours (or by agreement) per week in a 4-week cycle with 8 day shifts, 4 evening shifts and weekend shifts every 4th week.
