HF&VUC NORD seeks a reading advisor for special educational support

At HF&VUC NORD we undertake the task of providing special educational support to dyslexic students in the higher education programmes in Nordjylland, and due to increased activity we are seeking a new employee for our SPS team. This is a temporary 80% position with start as soon as possible and until 30/6-27.

To perform the role you must hold a long higher education degree. In addition, we prefer that you have experience with or training in the dyslexia field. This could be the two PD modules that qualify you to provide reading guidance in gymnasiet (upper secondary) or the training as an OBU teacher.

Your main place of work will be in our department in the middle of Aalborg, but part of the support is provided at the higher education institutions' own addresses at Aalborg University and at UCN in Hjørring and Aalborg.

As part of the SPS team at HF&VUC NORD you will be part of a strong and highly self-driven team of 15 staff, which with high professionalism and great flexibility offers support to more than 1000 students across Nordjylland. We expect you to be good at working independently, but also through close collaboration in the team help to ensure the overall quality of task execution. You should be able to thrive with your calendar not looking the same every week, and that some periods are especially busy, while in other periods there will be less to do.

In addition to providing the specialized educational support for dyslexics at Nordjylland's higher education institutions, we offer six different education programs in six towns in Nordjylland.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the current applicable organizational agreement for teachers and pedagogical leaders at high schools, etc.
