Every other weekend 10–16 – become a helper for a girl in Haderslev

Do you have the patience to let a relationship grow at the girl's pace? In Haderslev we are seeking an assistant for presence and companionship with a 10-year-old girl, 12 hours per month every other weekend.

About the task

You will become a regular adult for a girl who needs close one-on-one contact and plenty of time to get to know you. You are together in the home, where you adjust the time together to her energy and need for calm.

The girl is affected by brain fatigue and becomes quickly overstimulated. When the impressions become too many, she can become irritable and react outward. Your task is to be calm, read her signals, and set clear boundaries so the time together becomes safe and manageable.

About you

You don't need a specific education, but you may have experience with children. You can stay calm when a child becomes frustrated, and set boundaries in a clear and caring way.

You have the patience to build trust over time and can adapt the time spent when the girl needs fewer stimuli or a break.

Working hours

The position is 12 hours per month. You work every other weekend, Saturday or Sunday approximately from 10 am to 4 pm.

Outside office hours there is always a staffed on-call phone, so you are never alone. Salary and pension in accordance with the National Agreement between FOA and Dansk Erhverv. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and work injury insurance and health insurance is part of your pension scheme.
