Would you like to help educate high school students in HTX and HHX?

We are seeking a teacher for the subjects mathematics and physics

Due to illness among the teaching staff we are seeking an engaged and academically strong teacher who can undertake teaching in mathematics at HHX and physics at HTX. The position may also include other relevant tasks. We offer a temporary position until summer 2027 with the possibility of extension. The position is full-time until Christmas and is then expected to be 50% until summer 2027.

We are looking for you, who have a relevant education, enjoy working with young people, and are passionate about making professional knowledge lively and understandable. You can be an experienced teacher or a recent graduate from university. It is an advantage if you can start as soon as possible, but we encourage all qualified and interested candidates to apply.

At the high school department at HEG in Aars you will spend your days at a high school with both HHX and HTX. Our 40 teachers teach approximately 400 students. As an employee at a smaller high school you will have good opportunities to influence decisions and actively contribute to the school's development. We have an informal tone and place great emphasis on a good collegial community.

As part of our teaching staff you will be met by helpful and engaged colleagues who work closely on the tasks and are happy to share materials and experiences. We are also curious about your perspectives and what you can contribute to our professional community.

Salary and employment terms

The start date is as soon as possible , and this is a full-time position until Christmas and then expected 50% until summer 2027. Employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
