Versatile case handler for public transport, authorities and road maintenance

We are seeking a new versatile colleague who would like to work with tasks spanning public transport, road authority and road maintenance.

In addition, we continuously issue permits for activities on the roads and are also responsible for road maintenance, including the winter service. We are seeking a colleague who wishes to work with a broad palette of tasks within the road and traffic area. You should therefore thrive on having several different task types in progress at the same time, be ready for a "scene change" and preferably have experience within the road and traffic area. You will have good colleagues who work with the same task types, so you can expect good sparring across teams, with the colleagues in the department and across the organization.

The Mobility Department is a department with 24 experienced and skilled employees. The department is organized in a team structure with 5 teams, where cross-team collaboration is given high priority. We represent broad expertise in terms of professional background, gender, age and experience, and we are passionate about helping citizens and road users, which we do by being curious and involving them and bringing our professional expertise into play.

The Mobility Department is based in an open-plan office by Holbæk Harbor, where we complement each other in task solving and support each other both professionally and personally, and we place high value on openness, humor and development. The office buzzes with exciting projects and conversations over the desks to find the best possible solutions to the tasks. We have a flexible attendance culture, where there is also room for remote work.

Your tasks…

• The primary task to be solved with this position is within public transport, including our "Kommunebusser" (municipality buses), which are free buses mainly for school children, daily operation inquiries, finances, etc., in close collaboration with your colleague who works with the other and more strategic public transport
• In addition, you will work with road authority tasks e.g. access permits and property owner obligations as well as road maintenance tasks, such as the winter service, in close collaboration with colleagues on planning, route optimization, administration of winter and salt storage, citizen inquiries, etc.
• Tasks within general case and authority handling and administration according to the Road Act and the Traffic Act are also part of the job
• Opportunity to contribute to other tasks e.g. within traffic safety and speed-related tasks
• Political support - including preparing agendas and notes

• Have relevant education and/or experience such as engineer, technician, HK or other academic education and/or general experience within the field and/or task area
• Understand that our citizens/road users must be at the center, as we are there for them
• Have strong collaboration skills and team spirit
• Can think in terms of systems and have an eye for detail as to which professional disciplines need to be brought into play for a smooth process in a case handling flow
• Have good communication skills in writing as well as orally

Salary and terms of employment

The position is a full-time role with start date 1 February 2027 or earlier if possible. Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
