HSE Partner for LEGO System A/S – gain a central role close to operations and management

At Compass Group we are seeking an HSE Partner for our collaboration with LEGO System A/S in Billund. Here you will have a central role with responsibility and influence – and become an important sparring partner for both managers and colleagues in operations.

At LEGO System A/S you will become part of the local management team of six colleagues and report to our Account Director. At the same time you will gain a strong HSE professional community and close sparring with our central HSE team.

A role close to the business

As an HSE Partner you work both operationally and with a development orientation, with particular focus on food safety and the working environment. You will be close to daily operations and have the opportunity to advise, challenge and help develop our HSE efforts at LEGO System A/S.

An important part of your responsibility is to ensure that the foods we produce, handle, serve and distribute comply with applicable laws, standards and internal requirements. At the same time you collaborate with the local management team on the working environment and on creating the framework that prevents accidents and makes safety a natural part of everyday life.

In time you will also have a role in implementing concrete environmental initiatives.

Your primary tasks

In daily work you have a broad contact surface and follow up on HSE initiatives, key figures and any non-compliance. At the same time you help ensure that agreed improvements are translated into action.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

• Ensure and further develop food safety including hygiene programs
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, reporting and audits
• Prepare workplace risk assessments (APV) and follow up on occupational accidents and injuries
• Plan, develop and deliver training and workshops
• Drive preventive measures and ensure that improvements are translated into action
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and processes

Who are you?

You have a culinary education with experience in food safety and/or occupational health and safety and thrive in a role where you use your professional expertise close to daily operations. It is advantageous if you come from an operations-oriented organization where you are used to collaborating with many different disciplines and stakeholders.

You are able to make complex requirements understandable and applicable in practice and build trust through your way of collaborating and communicating.

In addition, we imagine that you

• Have relevant experience with food safety, occupational health and safety or other HSE-related areas
• Can translate laws, standards and requirements into solutions that work in daily operations
• Have experience with risk assessments, audits, inspections and preventive actions
• Work in a structured and analytical way and can keep an overview of multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Take ownership and follow your tasks and initiatives through to completion
• Communicate in writing and verbally in both Danish and English
