Primary school teacher for Nr. Felding School and Kindergarten - maternity leave substitute

We are seeking a professionally skilled and pedagogically engaged teacher for a maternity leave cover with start on 18 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is full-time and runs until 31 December 2027.

You must be able to cover the following subjects

• Danish in 2nd grade (a requirement)
• Home Economics in 5th and 6th grade
• Music (together with another music teacher. Music is therefore not a requirement – but an advantage)
• Christian Studies in 2nd grade
• English 2nd–4th grade
• Physical Education 2nd grade

We can offer you a Village Arrangement, which is a small school with a kindergarten and after-school care (SFO). The school currently has about 90 students, where everyone knows everyone – and older students play with younger ones. We place a high value on well-being, and we are therefore close to the students.

You will become part of a village arrangement where school, SFO and kindergarten work closely together. Within a couple of years, we will also have a nursery. This provides security in transitions for the children and strong collaboration across disciplines.

As some year groups are small, we have combined classes – i.e., two grades taught as one class. This provides greater opportunities to carry out academic activities and support social development than if the classes were small.

We expect that you

• are a trained teacher and possibly have good experience to back it up
• are strong in classroom management and take responsibility for your work
• are present and flexible
• see parents as a resource for the children's development
• that you want to be part of PALS at preschool level
