IPS Coordinator for Ungeløftet

The young person is the focal point of our work, and we are ambitious on behalf of the young. We meet the young where the young is, but we do not accept the status quo as good enough.

Therefore we are looking for an IPS-coordinator who both stands strong in the method and has an eagle eye for the young's potentials and resources.

About us and the position

You will become part of Team Job and Guidance in the Center for Youth and Education in the Municipality of Næstved. Here we work closely across professions to create coherence, progress and concrete opportunities for the young person.

Unge løftet (the Youth Lift) is a central part of our youth efforts and is built among other things on IPS and Flere Unge Skal Med. The effort takes place in close collaboration with companies, psychiatry, authorities, education actors and other relevant partners.

As an IPS-coordinator you have your own, smaller case load and work directly with youths. At the same time you have a special methodological professional role in the Ungeløft team, where you facilitate sparring, challenge practice and help the team work consistently and methodically according to IPS.

You are a close professional sparring partner for the consultants in Ungeløftet and for Jette Loman, who is the team leader. Jette has the managerial responsibility, while you have a clear methodological and coordinating role close to daily practice.

We need you to already stand strong in the IPS method and want to actively bring your professional expertise into play together with others. You work methodically in your own practice and are at the same time the colleague who with professional weight, curiosity and view for the young helps the team keep to the method, even when reality becomes complex.

In the role you will among other things

• have your own case load and work directly with young people in Ungeløftet according to the IPS method and Flere Unge Skal Med.
• facilitate professional sparring in the team.
• support fidelity to the model and keep focus on the IPS method's principles, mindset and resource view.
• contribute to prioritization and professional direction in daily operations.
• work closely with the team leader, Jette Loman, on method, quality and development.
• contribute to collaboration with companies, psychiatry and other relevant partners around the young person.

We are looking for you who

• are educated social worker/social educator, or have another relevant education and a driver's license.
• have a clear resource view and naturally work with the young person's wishes, strengths and potential as a starting point.
• have solid and documented experience with the IPS method.
• can facilitate professional sparring and dare to challenge practice when we move away from the method.
• have experience with employment-oriented work with youths and can create relation, progress and belief in possibilities.
• can work both independently and closely with colleagues and leadership.
• can balance operations and methodological development without losing sight of the young person.
• enjoy a role where you do not have personnel management, but where colleagues should be able to rely on you as a strong professional anchor.

About the position

The position is located in Team Job and Guidance in the Center for Youth and Education, Municipality of Næstved. Your workplace will be Jernbanegade 10 and 12, 4700 Næstved.

Salary and employment terms are fixed according to the applicable collective agreement and based on relevant qualifications and experience.

The position is fixed-term until December 31, 2028 and is linked to the current project period for Ungeløftet. There may be an opportunity for extension.

Start date: We would like the position filled on January 1, 2027.

Working hours per week are 37 hours.
