IT Operations Security Consultants for work on security, emergency preparedness, compliance and analyses at UFST

Would you like to be involved in working with security, emergency preparedness and compliance as well as collecting and communicating knowledge about this to top management in one of the state's most complex organisations?

In the Development and Simplification Agency we are seeking two operations consultants who want to work with security, emergency preparedness, compliance and analyses, as well as the ability to convey this knowledge to top management in the area of operations and infrastructure.

Your role

You will become part of the IDS IT-Operations Office, which serves as a link between the institutions under the Ministry of Taxation and Growth and State IT, where the Ministry of Taxation and Growth's basic IT is operated. In addition, the office represents the group's interests and requests regarding State IT's operation of the basic IT.

You do not need to know the domain beforehand, as you will receive thorough onboarding. The most important thing is that you are good at communicating complex IT knowledge – both verbally and in writing, enjoy working with security and compliance, and are structured and motivated to succeed with complex tasks in a cross-section with many stakeholders.

You will play a central role in creating an overview, ensuring progress and communicating a domain with significant managerial and political attention, where you will among other things work closely with the under-secretary for the area and many different professional disciplines in the organisation.

Among your tasks will be

• participate in meetings with the security line of business
• write explanations and notes about outages, security incidents, sovereignty, emergency plans and emergency readiness in the areas of IT operations, IT infrastructure and cyber security for the management
• work with compliance and information security (compliance with NIS2, ISO, GDPR and Minimum Requirements)
• work with assessment of complex IT solutions
• work with optimization of IT operations, technology and processes (ITIL)
• create structure, overview and progress in the tasks

Who are you?

You may be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, e.g. from the state, a municipality or a relevant student job.

You have a relevant education. The most important thing is not your exact background, but that you thrive in working with security and compliance in a collaboration with several stakeholders, where you take the responsibility for driving the collection of responses and communicating these both in a structured and understandable way for top management.

You will be employed under collective agreements in force for academics in the state (AC), collective agreement for clerks, laboratory assistants and IT employees (HK) or collective agreement for Administrators, etc. (DTS) at the Ministry of Taxation and Growth.
