IT security consultant for the Technical Risk Management team in Group IT

Copenhagen has over 45,000 employees, more than 1,000 IT systems and the portfolio continues to grow – not least with AI functionality. We are looking for you who have the skills and drive to help us keep both new and old IT systems within the municipality's risk tolerance.

About the position

To the Operational Security service area we are seeking an IT security consultant for the Technical Risk Management team. You bring relevant experience or education in IT risk assessments to one of Denmark’s most complex IT landscapes – and you will have the opportunity to sharpen your security skills in AI, OT, CIS18, software and classic IT applications.

You will have real influence from day one – on methods, processes and your own workday.

You can look forward to

• conduct IT system, AI solution, software and infrastructure risk assessments
• advise colleagues and projects on risk management across the municipality’s many diverse tasks
• help the organization understand and manage technical risks related to their IT solutions, including new technology
• contribute to further developing and making our IT risk management methods more efficient
• communicate technical risks to both professional colleagues and non-technical stakeholders
• work closely with the municipality's CISO function on maturity and practice.

You will become part of a professionally strong team that prioritizes knowledge sharing and helps each other across.

About you

You may have several years of experience in IT security or IT risk management and are used to working independently with complex risk assessments. Perhaps you have a relevant education in IT security and the necessary drive to take a life claim with the municipality. In addition we imagine that you

• have concrete experience with IT risk assessments, preferably from a larger organization or a complex IT environment, or from your education
• have basic knowledge of the contents of ISO 27001,-2 and -5 and certifications in IT security and risk management are an advantage
• are curious about artificial intelligence and the security issues that accompany it – technical AI experience is a clear plus
• can work independently and take responsibility, but also thrive when the task is solved in collaboration
• are keen to actively contribute to the team's professional development and make your mark on the methods

Employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with expected start on December 1, 2026. Salary and employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and qualifications.
