About the job

Would you like to help ensure stable application operation, good user support, and controlled changes to research platforms? Do you have experience with IT service management, application support, or automation, and a desire to influence a new section?

An organization moving toward something new

The Danish Health Data Agency will from 2027 become part of Digital Health Denmark together with sundhed.dk, MedCom, and a number of joint national IT tasks from the regions. Digital Health Denmark will be a nationwide organization that aims to strengthen digital development and ensure better coherence in the healthcare system.

The organization will ensure common direction, better use of health data, and the development of digital solutions that support citizens and health professionals across the country. The establishment means new colleagues, collaborations and opportunities in a strong professional community.

About Application Development and Operations

Application Development and Operations (AUD) is a new section responsible for creating coherence between development, transition to operations, stable operations, and further development of central technical services. We work, among other things, with secure data processing environments that support researchers' access to and use of health data. You will become part of a section under construction and will have the opportunity to influence our technical solutions and ways of working.

Your daily life with us

You will play a central role in the daily operation and support of our research and data platforms. You will handle inquiries, errors, and improvements across applications, integrations, and user access. Together with developers, architects, Product Owners and technical specialists, you contribute to ensuring a coherent transition from development to stable operations.

Your main tasks

You will manage and coordinate service requests and application errors and contribute to incident and problem management, including follow-up on recurring errors. You will contribute to secure user administration and access control within the defined areas of responsibility and coordinate relevant activities regarding vulnerabilities and security incidents with the organization’s security function.

You will support change and release management through planning, documentation, test coordination, and controlled release. You will also contribute to automating application deliveries and operational tasks, including with Docker and CI/CD in Azure DevOps, as well as to clear service descriptions, operating procedures, and continuous improvements.

Your education, experience and personal qualifications

We expect you to have a relevant IT professional background and experience with application operations, technical support, or service management. You have an understanding of the interaction between applications, integrations, users, and the underlying platform, and you can work in a structured way with errors, changes and documentation.

It is advantageous if you have experience with ITSM and preferably ITIL, including incident-, problem-, change-, and release management. Knowledge of user and access management, security requirements, Docker, Azure DevOps and CI/CD is also relevant. You do not need to know it all from the start. We emphasize service understanding, technical curiosity, overview, independence and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

We offer

AUD is a new section where you will have the opportunity to influence both technical solutions, processes, and the way we organize operations and development. You will become part of a professional environment with close collaboration across specialties.

We are located in historic surroundings together with Statens Serum Institut, 10 minutes by bike from Rådhuspladsen. We have ample free parking.

Social interaction is highly valued in the agency, and we have an active staff association with several clubs such as running club and wine club. There is also a fitness center, gym and tennis court available to agency employees.

We are not wage-leading, but we protect our work time, and generally do not expect you to work more than agreed in your contract. There is the possibility to arrange telework, but we also value presence with colleagues highly, because it provides better conditions for professional sparring, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Competence development is a focus area, and you will have the opportunity to strengthen and develop your competencies through internal and external courses.

About employment

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for the education you possess.
