About the job

My name is Lone, I am 65 years old and I am seeking a sweet, lively and stable companion who wants to share both small and big experiences with me.

I love music, dancing, good laughs and cozy moments – and I hope you feel like joining in!

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a cheerful, smiling and outgoing woman of 65 who has lived on Ternevej for more than 30 years. I have a developmental disability, but that should certainly not stop me from getting out and experiencing the world!

I love it when something funny happens! It could be a concert, a night out on the town where we can dance to good music, a cinema trip or a cozy exhibition – especially Christmas exhibitions are something I enjoy.

But it doesn't always have to be a big excursion. Sometimes the best thing is just a nice cup of coffee and a good chat at my home.

I thrive best when I know what is going to happen, and when our arrangements are kept. That gives me calm and security. If something becomes unpredictable, I can get sad or frustrated, and then I may raise my voice.

But fortunately I quickly become happy again, especially when I am met with calm, understanding and a smile.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As my companion you will become my fixed partner for good experiences and cozy moments.

We will together come up with things we want to do, and I look forward to having someone to share the experiences with.

I manage a lot of things myself, but I sometimes need a helping hand, for example when I need to put on a jacket or with other small practical things.

When we go on a trip, the staff at my residence help me get ready; it is an advantage if you can help me get ready, but it is not a requirement, so you can focus on what matters most – namely that we have a lovely experience together.

We have a disability bus at the residence which we can use if it is available for our trips, so there is plenty of opportunity to get around and come up with something exciting.

QUALIFICATIONS

I hope to find a companion who is kind, caring and wants to get to know me really well.

For me, the most important thing is not how many years of experience you have, but that you are a person I can feel safe with.

I need you to

  • Be stable and keep our appointments – that means a lot to me.
  • Be good at creating security, calm and predictability.
  • Have understanding for my developmental disability and can meet me with patience and care.
  • Be good at building relationships and want to get to know me and my needs.
  • Have a driver's license and be willing to drive the disability bus.
  • Have a good sense of humor and perhaps even be up for dancing shoes with me!

The most important for me is that you want to be my fixed companion, so we can get to know each other and create lots of good memories together.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • Start date: as soon as possible.
  • Part-time: 4 hours per week
  • Deadline for applications: 20.11.2026
  • Interviews: Ongoing
  • We reserve the right to remove the job posting before the deadline if the right candidate is found
  • If you have not heard anything by the deadline, you may assume the position has been filled
  • A criminal background check and a child protection check will be obtained upon employment

So if you enjoy music, cozy chats, good laughs and experiences in good company, I hope you will apply for the job.

PAY: Granted according to education and qualifications.

CONTACT: If you would like to apply for the vacant position, please send a written application to team leader Trine at the email: [email protected] – preferably with a picture of yourself.
