Job Consultant for the Cash Assistance Area

We are looking for a competent, engaged and motivating job consultant for Team Job & Health. The focus in the job is primarily follow-up with activity-ready unemployment benefit recipients as well as handling authority tasks for our citizens in flex jobs.

As our new colleague, you have the ability and desire to work with citizens who have a long unemployment journey and need an active and individualized effort. You will work with interventions where you will have a role with both authority and motivational conversations focusing on resources and opportunities in the labor market, so that even more can become part of a work community.

Your main tasks will be

• Independent case handling of citizens far from the labor market.
• Assessment of when there is momentum to actively work with the individual citizen, so the intervention is started at the best possible time.
• Documentation of work capacity.
• Authority tasks in connection with flex jobs.
• Preparation of cases for disability pension.
• Follow-up, coordination and documentation in accordance with applicable law.
• Follow-up on company-oriented offers/paid hours.
• Cooperation with internal and external actors, including doctors, therapists and companies.

We expect that you

• Have a relevant education, e.g., as social worker, social facilitator or another employment-related background.
• Have experience with citizens far from the labor market and independent case handling.
• Can navigate relevant legislation and translate it into concrete case handling.
• Can support and see new opportunities for citizens who have been outside the labor market for a long time.
• Have experience with company-oriented interventions/paid hours.
• Work in a structured way and have good documentation skills.
• Have good collaboration skills and can create coherence between different actors' efforts.
• Thrive in contributing to the development of new interventions and workflows.

About us and our organization

• In Albertslund Municipality, we are in the process of developing the employment effort of the future as part of the implementation of the new employment reform.

Salary and employment terms and deadlines

• The workplace is Jobcenter Albertslund, Bytorvet 25, 2620 Albertslund. The job center is part of the Department of Family, Youth, Employment & Education.
• The position is permanent, 37 hours per week.
• Salary placement is determined by negotiation between the municipality and the negotiating organization.
• It is part of Albertslund Municipality's employment policy to promote diversity and equality.
• It is a condition of your employment with Albertslund Municipality that you have a valid work and residence permit.
• Albertslund Municipality has smoke-free working hours.
• A criminal record certificate will be obtained upon employment.
• Albertslund Municipality supports full-time efforts in accordance with the Tripartite Agreement on Pay and Working Conditions, and the municipality therefore hires predominantly on 37 hours.
• We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and hire when the right candidates are found.
