Assistance Coordinator for our alarm center in Torrevieja.

We assist Nordic travelers around the world when they need assistance during a trip. It can be illness, accidents, lost luggage or other unforeseen events. From our offices in Torrevieja and Fuengirola we handle calls and emails from customers who have travel insurance and need help in a pressurized situation.

We are now looking for more skilled employees who want to help develop our alarm center to the next level. If you have experience from travel assistance, alarm center, health sector or customer service in a call center, that is a plus — but your motivation and personality are at least as important.

We have vacancies as Assistance Coordinator, Senior Assistance Coordinator and Specialist. If you have other relevant experience from travel assistance, you are also welcome to send an application.

What will I do?

As an Assistance Coordinator you are often the first person a customer talks to when something has gone wrong on the journey. Your task is to listen, create security and quickly form an overview of the situation. You collect the necessary information, assess the insurance coverage and create the case in the system.

You help the customers further by referring to doctors or clinics, book flights or hotels when necessary, and collaborate with our partners within insurance and assistance. It is a job where you make a real difference for people who are in an unexpected and often stressful situation.

Our alarm center is open 24/7, and we work in rotating shifts — day, evening, night and weekends.

Your responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers who need help during a trip
• Listen, create security and collect all necessary information about the customer's situation
• Assess insurance coverage and create cases in the system
• Refer customers to doctors, clinics or other relevant partners
• Book flights, hotels or other practical assistance when necessary
• Work closely with insurance companies and other partners
• Ensure that the customer receives correct and timely help in a pressurized situation
• Deliver excellent customer service — both over the phone and in writing
• Work in a structured way and maintain an overview in an environment with many simultaneous cases
• Contribute positively to the team and support colleagues in a round-the-clock alarm center

Your qualifications (one or more of the following)

• Alarm center for travel insurance
• Travel assistance or tour leader
• Experience from healthcare
• Insurance industry
• Customer service or call center
• Other work with people and customer contact

Education (not required, but relevant)

• Tourism
• Medicine, nursing or health
• Law
• Insurance
• International studies

Relocation

OPTION 1 — 30 days housing

• 30 days of free housing provided by the company.

OPTION 2 — €1,000 cash

• Total €1,000 gross relocation compensation.
• €500 after 3 months
• €500 after 9 months

OPTION 3 — 14 days housing + €500

• 14 days of free housing
• €500 gross relocation compensation after 9 months
