About the job

Would you like to help set the legal framework for IT systems and digitisation solutions in the Tax Administration? Do you thrive on challenges and a steep learning curve? Are you motivated by a broad contact surface in a large organization, and by being able to contribute to a strong professional community? Then you are the one we are looking for as our new digitisation lawyer.

You will become part of an office whose purpose is to support business development of the Tax Administration. We do this, among other things, through the development of advanced automation and digitisation solutions as well as compliance assessments of solutions developed for the Business area or for use across the entire organization.

Your day-to-day

As a digitisation lawyer you will be the bridge between complex legal frameworks within digital administration and modern technology. You will be closely involved in operations and also provide broad support with your knowledge across the agency.

You will also help prepare compliance assessments of our own developed automation and digitisation solutions, as well as advise colleagues, assist in the preparation of compliance assessments of automation and digitisation solutions and participate in other IT projects.

Your tasks will include

  • prepare administrative-law consequence analyses
  • translate administrative-law requirements and principles into concrete digital solutions and IT projects based on the legal method
  • assist in the preparation of data protection law compliance documents
  • quality-check legal documents
  • participate in larger and smaller projects, where you as a digitisation lawyer have an active role as the project’s sparring partner and provide proactive legal advice, so that legal issues are resolved during the development process
  • further develop processes and governance for compliance in collaboration with the team’s other lawyers.

About you

You are educated cand.jur. or cand.merc.(jur.) and have a natural curiosity and interest in digital administration and new technology.

Perhaps you have a couple of years of experience from a similar position, or you have worked with digitisation law and administrative law during your studies, and are now ready to translate that into value in your first full-time job.

We do not expect you to know everything from day one, as long as you have the will to learn and are motivated by tasks that challenge you. You will become part of an existing compliance team with high professionalism. We place great emphasis on sparring and share knowledge over desks, challenge each other’s legal assessments and lift as a team. We ensure a good onboarding so you are well equipped for your tasks. You will have ample opportunity to shape your own tasks in an environment with a high ceiling and a flat and informal management structure.

We value that you

  • are thorough in your legal method
  • have a solid professional foundation and/or practical experience within administrative law, GDPR and information security
  • have a proactive, analytical and structured approach to your tasks
  • have natural assertiveness and a desire to take responsibility for your own tasks
  • are able to explain complex legal frameworks in a constructive, correct and simple manner to colleagues with a different professional background, so that your answers are immediately usable for the recipient
  • have good collaborative relationships and are motivated to collaborate across disciplines and across a large organization
  • work independently and can maintain an overview when participating in several parallel projects.

A little about the team

The office consists of an office head, four digitisation lawyers, five developers, a data analyst and three project managers. As a unit we help shape some of the overarching frameworks and processes for the Business area as well as across the agency. If you are interested, you can in time help to further develop the compliance processes in Business.

We all contribute with our respective expertise when we develop IT solutions, and we always help each other to reach the goal.

We are ambitious, but also insist that work-life balance is maintained. In addition, we cultivate social interaction internally in the office, and you will have great flexibility in everyday life, so there is room for family, friends and hobbies.
