From week 2 we will introduce a new work plan, where you will have the opportunity to request different shift forms and weekend rotations. We want to create greater flexibility and a better balance between work life and leisure.

The work plans are organized in dialogue with the employees and with regard to individual wishes, citizens’ needs and the overall operations.

Who are you?

You are a trained social and health care assistant and you are motivated to work in a multidisciplinary team around the citizen. You contribute with your health care professionalism, your view of the whole and your ability to create security in the citizens’ daily lives.

You thrive on a workday where you bring many facets of your professional skills into play, and where health care tasks are part of the rehabilitative effort in a natural way.

You are focused on making a difference for people with mental health vulnerabilities, value professional sparring and want to develop yourself together with your colleagues.

Who are we?

Social Center Lillebælt – Syrenparken is located in Børkop close to the train station. We are a highly specialized regional residential facility for 46 citizens with mental health vulnerabilities.

With us you become part of a multidisciplinary environment with nurses, social and health care assistants, occupational therapists, pedagogues and social workers. We collaborate to create a coherent effort where the citizen’s needs, resources and possibilities are central.

We have three units with their own professional focus

Unit 1 – rehabilitation and participation

Focus on development and active participation in community life including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and a trauma-informed approach.

Unit 2 – rehabilitation and stabilization

Focus on arousal regulation, conflict management and cognitive treatment.

Unit 3 – rehabilitation, structure and systematics

Focus on structure, systematics and neuro pedagogical approaches.

Professional approaches and your role

We work rehabilitatively with LA2 and a cognitive approach as part of our professional foundation.

As a social and health care assistant you will become an important part of the health care work. You contribute to ensuring quality and coherence in the citizens’ health care initiatives and help create security and continuity in everyday life.

You will have the opportunity to apply your professional knowledge in collaboration with colleagues and relevant health care partners. We place emphasis on sharing knowledge, following up on our observations and working systematically with quality and patient safety.

A new work plan with the opportunity to influence

From week 2 we introduce a new work plan that will give employees greater ability to influence the planning of their working hours.

You will have the opportunity to request among

• Pure day shifts.
• Pure evening shifts.
• Mixed day and evening shifts.
• 12-hour shifts.
• Weekend shifts every other weekend or every fourth weekend.

We want to create a work plan that provides a better balance between work life and leisure, while ensuring the necessary professional coverage and continuity for the citizens.

Your wishes are part of the dialogue about the work plan. The final arrangement takes into account your wishes, the citizens’ needs and the overall operation.

Employment terms

The position is essentially 37 hours per week.

In the Region of Southern Denmark, all positions must be advertised as full-time positions. However, it should be mentioned that if you choose to apply for the position, and you want a part-time position, you must indicate this in your application.

Your application must include documentation of education, a complete CV and relevant attachments.

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position.

You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the collective agreement for: Social and health care personnel, collective agreement number 32.03.1

In addition to the starting salary, the position may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications. There may also be shift allowances.
