Kitchen assistant for Krathgården - Daginstitutionen Blicheregnen with ongoing employment

We are seeking a kitchen assistant for Krathgården in Sjørslev in a permanent position of around 25 hours, with the possibility of adjusted hours and children’s time if desired. Start as soon as possible.

The day care institution Blicheregnen consists of 4 kindergartens - Børnehuset Thorning, Troldhøj, Krathgården and Vinderslev Børnegård, all located in the northern part of Silkeborg municipality.

Krathgården has a group of about 50 children, distributed between kindergarten and toddler group, and 8 staff. Our kitchen assistant has sought other challenges, and therefore we are missing you to become a part of a small day care in scenic surroundings, where together with you we would like to think differently about healthy and sustainable food. You will become part of a team of professional and engaged staff who all burn for the core task – namely the children.

We are looking for a kitchen assistant who

• Is passionate about sustainable cooking and integrates green transition into everyday work with children aged 0-6
• Plans the yearly cycle and food waste as part of daily and weekly planning of menus
• Has knowledge of self-inspection and organic bookkeeping and can use IT for self-checks and ordering of goods
• Enjoys spending the day with children aged 0-6 and finds it energizing
• Can take initiative and contribute ideas
• Is outgoing, has a positive attitude and sees opportunities in everyday life
• Is stable and flexible
• Is present, caring and willing to take responsibility
• Can work independently, but also engage in positive collaboration with children, parents, colleagues and management
