Cook or caterer with a green heart sought for a maternity leave position at Rønde Højskole og Efterskole

Does your catering- or chef heart crave green, healthy, and sustainable food made from good ingredients? Then you are the one we are looking for here at Rønde Højskole og Efterskole! We have a temporary position to fill as soon as possible and until the end of March 2027, where there may be a possibility of extension. The position can be part-time or full-time.

We dream of having a skilled chef/caterer – or you with a corresponding culinary training – join our engaged kitchen team. The food in our kitchen focuses on sustainability and good craftsmanship. And the core of our food is local ingredients, precisely the ones that give our meals character and soul.

The school's task is to form and educate people to take responsibility for their own lives – and for communities. Here, the kitchen's involvement of students, contributing to their well-being and sense of homeliness, plays a crucial role. Rønde Højskole og Efterskole is an important cultural organization and a gathering place on Djursland. Our kitchen prepares daily meals for about 375 students, course participants and staff. Together with them, a wide range of organizations and local guests at our many events, we have a unique community. We foster and convey the sustainable agenda, and not least the love of food made from local ingredients.
