About the job

Do you thrive with independent responsibility, complex cases and a strong interdisciplinary community – and are you curious about forensic psychiatry? Then you might be our new medical secretary / health administrative coordinator in the forensic psychiatric outpatient clinic.

We are looking for a colleague for a permanent position at 37 hours per week starting 01.01.27 – other working hours can be agreed.

About us

In the forensic psychiatric outpatient clinic you enter a field that only a few medical secretaries nationwide work with, where the tasks are weighty and have professional depth. You will have your daily base in the outpatient clinic and collaborate closely with doctors, psychologists and social workers on the preparation of mental observation reports for the police.

You will become part of an interdisciplinary staff of about 50 employees with different professional backgrounds. Your everyday work is anchored in a smaller administrative team of 6 employees, where two colleagues work with exactly the same tasks as you – so you are never alone, and there is always an opportunity for sparring and a sense of community.

Your tasks

You will have a versatile daily routine with both familiar routines and tasks that require overview, precision and professional safety.

Your primary tasks will be

  • Case processing, including preparation of cases for distribution, invitations, gathering information and contact with interdisciplinary partners and observers.
  • Writing and proofreading mental health statements to the police.
  • Phone and email correspondence with internal and external partners.
  • Tasks related to the sexology outpatient clinic in connection with holidays and sickness in the team.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • Are a trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator.
  • Are robust and can handle the content of the cases we work with – e.g., murder, violence, sexual crime and material in the form of case files and image material.
  • Have experience from psychiatry – preferably from the forensic psychiatric specialty.
  • Have good IT skills and thrive with working in EPJ SYD, Acadre and M365.
  • Enjoy working independently, in a structured way and be motivating with your tasks.
  • Are good at prioritising and can handle both busy and less busy periods.
  • Are collaborative and service-minded towards colleagues, patients and partners.
  • Are curious about developing both yourself and our department.
  • Are flexible and proactive – dare to take initiative and articulate your professional assessments.

We offer

With us you get

  • A meaningful job where your contribution has clear significance in complex patient pathways.
  • A strong collegial community with high professionalism, where we support each other.
  • A daily life where humor and integrity go hand in hand with professionalism and thoroughness.
  • Professional development, close sparring and insight into a particularly specialized area.
  • A department with modern facilities, good amenities and central location.

Practical information

  • The position is full-time starting 01.01.27 or after agreement.
  • The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in Administration and IT staff etc. - agreement 32.01.1 - salary as of 1.4.2026 / Health administrative staff - agreement 32.09.1 - salary as of 1.4.2026 .
