About the job

Would you like to be part of a strong community where collaboration, development and patient service are in focus? We are seeking a trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator (SAK) for a permanent position of 37 hours per week. It is an unwavering requirement that you are trained.

We perform X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound scans and are an important part of patient pathways across the hospital. We are there when things move fast, when the patient is admitted, and when the examination is planned well in advance.

We have departments spread across the hospital and collaborate closely with colleagues from all departments and professional areas. This means that with us you meet many different patients, problems and workflows – and that no day is completely the same. With us, technology, professionalism and people meet. We take images, create overviews and patient pathways. In short: We find the answers that others need - and we do it together.

About the position

Section 1-2-3 Imaging Team is one combined secretary team that supports both acute and planned patient pathways in Radiology and Scanning. Our daily work is characterized by great variation, ranging from acute tasks and image requisition to classic secretary tasks. You will become an important part of the daily operations and will have a broad contact surface to patients, radiographers, radiologists and other partners.

There is the possibility for remote work, and we work with flexible working hours. Standard working hours are 7:30-15:00.

Your tasks will include

  • image requisition and coordination of examinations
  • booking and coordination of examinations in close collaboration with radiologists and radiographers
  • responsibility for preparing conferences as well as booking patients in cancer packages
  • administrative tasks related to radiological patient pathways
  • telephone handling and service to patients at the reception
  • support of acute patient pathways
  • ad hoc tasks and contribution to optimization of workflows.

We are looking for someone who

  • is a trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator
  • works independently and in a structured way
  • thrives in a busy daily life with many varied tasks
  • has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive working environment
  • is service-minded and meets patients and colleagues with engagement and professionalism
  • has a flair for IT and administrative systems.

Experience from radiology is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We offer

  • an exciting and versatile position in a department with high professionalism
  • a well-functioning team with good camaraderie and humor
  • thorough introduction and training
  • opportunity for professional and personal development
  • a workplace where collaboration, well-being and quality go hand in hand.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Employment is conditional on a satisfactory police check regarding safeguarding children.

The application deadline is 20 November 2026 and we expect to conduct interviews on 26 November 2026. Employment from 1 January 2027 or as agreed.

We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to Section 1-2-3 Imaging Team.

The position is, in principle, a full-time position.

As Region Midtjylland continuously implements savings and reorganizations, employees in redeployment who apply for the position will have priority.

Region Midtjylland is, in accordance with the EU’s pay transparency directive, which came into force on 7 June 2026, obliged to inform you of the starting salary or a salary range for a position before offering employment.
