At the Directorate for International Recruitment and Integration we are looking for you who want to work with complex legal issues and become an important part of a strong professional environment where high professionalism, collaboration and development are central.

Welcome to Team Law

You will become part of Business Development, where we are 25 colleagues with competencies in digitization, development, law and business support. We work, among other things, with information security, GDPR, process and operations management, digital development projects and cross-cutting legal tasks. As a lawyer in Team Law you will become part of a professionally strong environment where the law is a central working tool. We work, among other things, with immigration law, administrative law, the Public Administration Act as well as data protection and information security

Digitization

In SIRI, digitization is an important part of our daily life. We work with new technological possibilities, e.g. AI, to strengthen efficient and secure task execution and create value for citizens, businesses and employees.

Your tasks

As a lawyer with us you will have a broad legal area of responsibility, where you in cooperation with colleagues across SIRI solve complex issues that have significance for the entire agency. You will have a varied everyday life with large contact surface, close collaboration and ongoing professional sparring in an environment characterized by high quality, knowledge sharing and good opportunities for both professional and personal development.

Your main tasks will include

  • tasks with high complexity and societal impact
  • close collaboration with engaged colleagues across the agency
  • a strong collegial environment where well-being and sparring are highly valued

Emphasis on flexibility and professional development

At SIRI our tasks continually evolve. Therefore, flexibility is a natural part of everyday life with us. As an employee you must be prepared that your tasks or your attachment to a unit may change over time, and that there may be a need to rotate internally, for example due to organizational changes or new needs in the agency. This gives us the opportunity to use your competencies where they do the most good, and the rotation can give you broader experience and new opportunities for professional development.

About you

You are educated cand.jur. or similar. We attach importance to having experience from a legal position, preferably from a public authority, or that you have relevant legal experience from a student job, e.g. within administrative law, access-to-information or government service.

In addition we expect that you

  • have a solid understanding of administrative law and public law
  • work thoroughly and structured
  • have a detail-oriented and curious approach to tasks
  • can convey legal assessments clearly and precisely
  • work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
  • thrive in collaboration and in an organization with many stakeholders
