Maintenance Technician - day shift

Randstad is recruiting on behalf of Swedish Match a technically well-founded maintenance technician/repairer for the company's production facility in Silkeborg.

job tasks and daily work

As a technician at Swedish Match, two days are rarely the same. The tasks are highly varied and depend on the current challenges in production and the projects that are in focus.

the primary tasks include

• Maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair.
• Development of new ideas and technical solutions in your own workshop.
• Brainstorming and project work in collaboration with colleagues.

The work is carried out in a creative “Georg Gearløs”-spirit, where there is ample opportunity to put your own mark on new initiatives. The onboarding process starts in production to give optimal knowledge of the machines and a thorough understanding of the operating flow.

working hours

The position is on day shift with the following hours

Monday – Wednesday: 06.30 – 14.15

Thursday: 06.30 – 15.15

Friday: 06.00 – 13.00

your profile and professional background

We imagine that you have a relevant vocational education such as welder, mechanic, automation technician or electrician. The title, however, is not decisive as long as you have solid practical experience with both mechanical and electrical work. If you have already worked with service and maintenance of production facilities, that is a great advantage.
