About the job

Do you have clinical experience from psychiatry and would you like to help support the development of clinical guidelines in close collaboration with the country's leading professionals within the field of psychiatry?

Then you may be the person we are looking for as a method consultant at the Health Service Quality Institute (SundK).

SundK, in connection with the 10-year plan for Psychiatry and Mental Health, has been tasked with supporting Danish Multidisciplinary Psychiatry Groups in developing clinical guidelines. Therefore we need another method consultant in SundK’s Quality Area B - Psychiatry, Acute Illness, Pregnancy and Children.

About the position

You will become part of the Quality Unit B, which among other things supports the Danish Multidisciplinary Psychiatry Groups (DMPG) in the development and updating of clinical guidelines.

DMPG brings together professional disciplines across specialties and sectors with the common goal of ensuring high and consistent quality in assessment, treatment, and follow-up for people with mental disorders. As a method consultant you will play a central role in collaborating with the professional environments and contribute to ensuring that guidelines are developed on an evidence-based basis and translated into usable recommendations for clinical practice.

You will work closely with psychiatrists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and other professional groups from across the country.

In addition, you will be part of SundK’s cross-cutting Guideline Function, where we develop common methods, tools and workflows across the organization.

Your tasks

You will, among other things, come to

  • Support the development, updating, and implementation of clinical guidelines in the psychiatry field
  • Facilitate working groups and meetings with clinical experts and professional societies
  • Advise on the selection of good topics, literature searches, evidence assessment and formulation of recommendations
  • Contribute to translating research and evidence into practice-oriented recommendations
  • Ensure progress in guideline projects in close collaboration with the professional environments
  • Contribute to further development of methods, processes and tools in guideline work
  • Join cross-cutting collaborations with, among others, quality consultants and epidemiologists at SundK on quality, data and improvement of patient pathways

With us you get

  • A central role in the development of the quality work of the future in the psychiatry field
  • Opportunity to work closely with some of the country’s strongest professional environments
  • A varied daily life with both methodological work, process facilitation and development tasks
  • An engaged and interdisciplinary work environment with high professionalism and helpful colleagues
  • A high degree of independence and opportunity to influence tasks and ways of working
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development.

About you

We imagine that you

  • Have a relevant health sciences or health professional education and experience with quality development, evidence work or similar methodological tasks
  • Have clinical experience from psychiatry and insight into the challenges and opportunities that characterize the area
  • Have an interest in evidence-based practice, quality development and clinical guidelines
  • Work in a structured and analytical way
  • Are good at building relationships and facilitating collaboration across professional groups and organizations
  • Can drive processes independently while also participating in close collaborations.

Salary and employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week with permanent employment from 01.01.2027.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement with the possibility of negotiation of allowances.

You will be employed in the Central Denmark Region with work locations in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense or Copenhagen.

From January 1, 2027, SundK will introduce a neutrality policy to support openness, transparency and trust in SundK's work with quality development and patient safety in the Danish health service.
