About the job
Do you want to help raise the quality and ensure effective resource support within the Danish healthcare system? And are you passionate about project management?
Then you might be the consultant we are looking for at the Health System's Quality Institute (SundK).
As a consultant you will be employed in a quality unit and become a central part of our team, which works with assessments and analyses of treatment modalities that are part of the healthcare system's delivery of health services, including health technologies, treatments, diagnostics, rehabilitation, prevention as well as organizational and collaborative forms. You can read more about: Assessments and Analyses in SundK .
You will also contribute to the quality unit, which also covers tasks within clinical guidelines and clinical quality databases – and together with your colleagues contribute to thinking in synergy across functions and products in the unit as well as in SundK’s solutions to quality challenges in the health system.
Your tasks
In the professional work with assessments and analyses you will join project groups that work with assessments and analyses. Everyone in the project groups participates in planning and preparing the written reports that constitute our assessments and analyses. The reports are presented to the SundK Council, whose primary task is to formulate recommendations or provide advice to the health system's actors based on our reports; see more here: SundK Council .
Your tasks will among others be
- Professionally anchored tasks in the concrete assessments and analyses and contribute to scope, illuminate, interpret and report on, among other things, clinical, health economic and organizational analysis tasks
- Plan and project-manage against deadlines and act as the point of contact to collect the project group's agenda materials for the Council in SundK
- Ensure involvement of clinicians and patient representatives in professional committees as well as plan and facilitate professional committee meetings
- Be able to tackle health economics related tasks, including contributing to health economic analyses in the guidelines area
- Contribute to qualifying topics for the function's and the unit's work program
- Cross-cutting development tasks that strengthen our internal processes and methods as well as collaboration with external actors (professional committees, councils, etc.)
Who are you?
Our new colleague has a long higher education, probably within the societal or health science area and also has a number of concrete experiences and competencies in working with health economics and driving processes in close collaboration with clinical experts and patient representatives.
We would like you to
- Have several years of relevant experience from the health sector. This could be from the public health system, from the private sector or from research and analysis organizations
- Have good knowledge of the health system's structure and patient pathways.
- Have analytical competencies and interest - especially with a focus on health economic analyses
- Have experience and thrive with project management without formal leadership and your role in the team as project coordinator
- Find energy in and have experience in leading processes with many actors and deadlines and with a focus on making things succeed both in your own tasks and in collaboration with others
- Thrive in both deepening yourself academically in tasks and facilitating meetings, and in dialogue with internal and external actors
- Work independently and have personal impact, which you use to be proactive and set the boundaries
- Know the importance of having control of the details, without letting details obscure your view of deadlines and expectations for the product.
We offer
- An exciting job in development with content you can help shape
- A defined onboarding program with introduction to the tasks
- Flexibility - we have flex time and the possibility of remote work
- Good colleagues and a great colleague camaraderie
- A workplace in development, where we as the Health System's Quality Institute must set a clear agenda for quality and prioritization in our shared health system.
Salary and conditions
The position is 37 hours per week with permanent employment starting 01.01.2027.
Salary and employment conditions follow the applicable collective agreement with the possibility of negotiating allowances.
You will be employed in the Central Denmark Region with the work location in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense, or Copenhagen, and some travel activity in connection with meetings and contact with colleagues can be expected
From 1 January 2027 SundK will introduce a conflict of interest policy to support openness, transparency and trust in SundK's work with quality development and patient safety in the Danish health system.
As an employee of SundK you will be covered by the conflict of interest policy. Read more here: https://www.sundk.dk/nyheder/sundk-vedtager-habilitetspolitik/
