The Kitchen, South Jutland Hospital, Sønderborg seeks a colleague with a kitchen professional background

For the Kitchen at South Jutland Hospital, Sønderborg, we are seeking 1 new colleague with a start in January 2027. This is a permanent position of 37 hours per week.

The primary task will be in our patient restaurant, serving patients, guests and staff at the hospital.

• Do you have education or experience in work in a kitchen?
• Do you have abilities within the kitchen-related work combined with solid craftsmanship and the desire to make a difference?
• Do you have a nutrition-related education/experience – cook, nutrition assistant, cater or similar?
• Do you have a good demeanor and are responsible, stable and relatively flexible?
• Do you see collaboration with all kitchen disciplines as well as the hospital's other staff as a given?

If you can answer affirmatively to this - then we offer

• A kitchen with an a la carte concept where the patient is at the center.
• A kitchen that prepares and serves good food to ca. 100 patients, as well as relatives and guests in the house 365 days a year.
• A wide range of tasks, from the raw materials coming in to the serving at the patient or in the restaurant.
• A working time placed between 6.00 and 20.30 and work every fourth weekend
• A good working environment with focus on both the individual wellbeing and the good work community.
• Additionally 45 happy, good and engaged colleagues who collaborate in a busy kitchen environment.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally set allowances and pension in relation to the applicable collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may contain negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
