Nørre Vedby Skole og Børnehus søger pr. 1/1-27 et antal pædagoger med erfaring eller interesse inden for det specialpædagogiske felt.

Stillingerne, der ønskes besat, er faste fuldtids- eller deltidstillinger i vores skoledel samt SFO tilbud for elever med autisme.

Vi søger et antal medarbejdere til vores autismecenter, som er en del af Nr. Vedby skole & Børnehus.

Stillingens nøgleopgaver

• You as a pedagogue in the autism department will join an established, engaged team with extensive experience in teaching pupils with autism.
• You will be co-responsible for the pupils' academic and social development in one or more of the school's classes for children with autism.
• You will participate in a close school/home collaboration and close cooperation with the school's other staff, as well as external partners.
• In the department for pupils with autism, almost all pupils are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or similar. The teaching and pedagogical approach is based on TEACCH and tailored pedagogy, of which it would be advantageous to have knowledge.
• Initially you will be part of our team in the primary section.

Faglige kompetencer

• You are trained as a pedagogue and professionally well-founded.
• You are reflective and enjoy challenging your own and your colleagues' professionalism.
• You are engaged in the pupils' possibilities and competencies.
• You have experience or interest in special education, preferably with knowledge of visual support as well as TEACCH and Low Arousal.
• You are clear and structured in your work, and thus can help create safety, predictability and recognizability for and with the pupils.
• You can develop action plans in collaboration with your colleagues.
• You manage to remain calm and maintain an overview in pressured situations, even when a pupil may exhibit outwardly aggressive behavior. You manage to separate the pupil's personality - from the pupil's behavior, and always meet the pupils with a focus on professionalism and empathy.

Skolen

Nr. Vedby Skole & Børnehus houses about 55 staff and 165 happy children from kindergarten to 9th grade - of which about 63 children attend autism classes. In the school's main building several classes are age-integrated, where two cohorts are combined. The institution also includes a school after-school program used by about 50 children, and a kindergarten/nursery totaling about 30 children. It should also be noted that we have a very engaged parent association and board who actively and positively support the school and development in the local area in general.

Nr. Vedby Skole & Børnehus lies in a scenic area on Nordvestfalster, close to Storstrøms Bridge – both the new and the old one.
