Nurse for psychiatric inpatient ward N2

Are you passionate about nursing and psychiatry, and do you like taking responsibility in a close interdisciplinary collaboration while navigating a busy daily routine? Then you may be the nurse we are looking for for a permanent position in Ward N2.

We are seeking 1 nurse with start on 1 January or as soon as possible.

About the ward

Ward N2 is an open ward with space for 20 patients, of which two beds will be user-controlled beds. We primarily have patients with psychotic symptoms, but other patient groups can also be admitted as needed, e.g., patients with accompanying substance use and developmental disorders.

We are a ward that values a good work environment and a strong sense of community, where we work using the ITOP tool. In addition, N2 staff focus on knowledge sharing and development.

We are looking for

We are seeking a trained nurse who is motivated to work in psychiatry and understands the importance of a good working environment and maintains a high professional standard.

You thrive in a busy daily routine and value collaboration with both patients, colleagues and management. We would like you to be:

• Committed and interested in contributing to the ward’s development.
• Actively participates and prioritizes a professional and development-oriented learning environment and can reflect on your own and colleagues' actions in practice
• Interested in treatment psychiatry and especially the complicated patient pathways
• After introduction, can assume the role of lead nurse on weekends and evening/night shifts.
• Can maintain an overview in acute and professionally demanding situations
• Can participate in alarm situations in your own and other wards.

The practical

The position is essentially a full-time position, but it is possible to adjust the employment fraction by agreement.

You will be employed with a weekend every 2 weeks with 8-hour shifts, with room for free weekends. We are flexible regarding wishes and needs, but any requests will always be assessed in relation to operations and the overall work community.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement for non-management staff within the Health Cartel area entered into with the Danish Nurses Association.
