We are looking for a nurse who has the desire, heart and professional know-how to, together with us, create the best framework for a good life for the residents at Kristiansgården. Experience from the elderly care sector is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the professional and personal competencies needed to create security, well-being and good conditions for the residents. We are looking for someone who wants to bring their professionalism into play and become an active part of our joint development.

The position is located within the 24/7 area. You will primarily work day shifts, but evening shifts may occur, for example in connection with professional sparring and support for the evening shifts. You should expect to work about 5-8 weekends per year.

We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about creating secure environments and a good daily life for our residents. You are eager to bring your professionalism, your ideas and your perspectives into play and contribute to our joint development of a nursing home where residents' lives, wishes and needs are in focus.

• Provide daily nursing and care with high professionalism and quality. You work carefully, structurally and with an eye for both the detail and the overall resident journey.
• Carry the health professional function and contribute to planning and performing actions in a professionally sound manner.
• Are curious, collaborative and open to changes and new ways of developing practice.
• Contribute to strengthening and developing colleagues' competences through sparring, guidance and teaching.
• Facilitate professional meetings on person-centered care, where employees' reflections and perspectives contribute to the development of practice.
• Lead in triage work and have a central role in professional assessments, follow-up and relevant actions.
• Be passionate about quality work and development of practice within documentation, medication management, citizen-safe nursing care and patient safety
• Have an eye for daily operations and can create coherence between residents' needs, staff competences and available resources.
• Be motivated by professional and personal development and thrive with influence on your own work day.

We anticipate that you have experience from the elderly care sector and a good clinical eye that you want to bring into play. Experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important is that you have professional engagement, a desire to develop practice and the ability to support the staff in their work.

About the department

Kristiansgården is a small nursing home in Beder with community, warmth and homeliness.

As a new resident at Kristiansgården you will quickly notice how we every day focus on being here for the residents. We start from each individual's well-being and daily needs for the day, as it is important to us that residents feel meaning and influence in daily life.

It is something quite special for the community at Kristiansgården that we are a smaller nursing home. Everyone – both residents and staff – knows one another, and we put a lot into having a sense of community with each other. We are known for a good and welcoming atmosphere, that exudes coziness and homeliness.

Here there is the scent of home-baked goods, flowers on the tables, a morning song in the dining room and we regularly receive visits from pets and the town's children. We closely follow the changing seasons both on off-site trips, from the windows and in our lovely garden.

We are an Eden Alternative © registered nursing home. Specifically, this means that we focus on well-being and happiness for both residents and staff. At Kristiansgården we are together about the good everyday life. Residents are involved in decisions and planning, and we go far to ensure that what they want is what happens. If the resident wants a bus trip, we drive. If a resident needs presence and companionship, we sit with them.

Kristiansgården has 24 homes, all with their own garden. We have a large common dining room next to a kitchen. The hot meals are served at dinner, where the nutrition assistants together with the staff help serve and enjoy the meal. Then we can also have a chat about preferred dishes and food wishes for other days - we focus on good food.

We have a good collaboration with the local community in Beder and are enriched with wonderful volunteers who help create star moments for Kristiansgården's residents. Kindergartens and school classes are invited to visit and we enjoy how the meeting between generations brings joy to young and old alike.

As the principal I am proud to feel how there is room every day for the individual resident and their wishes and needs. Our community, warmth and homeliness make Kristiansgården a nursing home where life can be lived every day

Salary and employment terms

The position is to be filled by 01.01.2027.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement and after concrete negotiations with the recognized trade organization.

Weekly hours: 37 hours
