About the job

Would you like to feel the impact of your efforts while working together with engaged, professionally skilled, funny and sweet colleagues who value their shared working environment?

Now you have the opportunity to apply for one of the two vacant positions.

Neurological nursing is a specialty where patients' progress is visible, and where your role is crucial.

With us you will meet patients with both acute and complex neurological diseases, such as stroke, brain hemorrhage, epilepsy, brain tumors, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and ALS. The patient group is diverse, and therefore you gain broad nursing and neurological knowledge as well as strong clinical competences, spanning everything from highly specialized rehabilitation to our acute function as a thrombolysis nurse.

You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary collaboration, where you have the opportunity to develop professionally, and over time to deepen yourself within a particular area of interest as a key person.

In addition to nurses and social and health care assistants, our department also includes runners, flex workers and a house assistant, and we help each other so that resources and competencies are distributed among us.

We cannot promise you that there will be no busy days. On the other hand, we can promise that you will never be alone. We help each other, prioritize together and take care of one another – because we believe that a good work environment is the foundation for excellent nursing.

The best thing about working here is the strong sense of community and high professionalism. There is room for both laughter, good ideas and professional development. We are good at helping each other, backing each other up and lifting together – and that is part of what makes me look forward to coming to work.

  • Colleague in the department

We can offer you

•A safe learning environment – You will receive an individually tailored onboarding program and a mentor who accompanies you closely at the start. You will participate in a competence unit together with your colleagues where you reflect on practice with a focus on development and learning

•Professional and personal development – we have scheduled reflection sessions based on excellent nursing, mentalizing supervision programs and a strong interdisciplinary collaboration with neurologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, among others.

•A collegial community – We prioritize well-being and each other and we know that we are stronger together. We enjoy eating together, laughing together and learning together and we are good at lifting each other up when it is busy

•Visible and supportive leadership – We are present and we place a high value on your well-being. We support you in your professional development and in handling everyday challenges

•Flexibility and influence – You have great opportunity to shape your own shift plan through a Wunsch plan

We are looking for a colleague who

•Is passionate about delivering excellent nursing and wants to be part of a strong community

•Sees possibilities instead of limitations and takes responsibility for own learning

•Wants to share knowledge and experience

•Can balance the practical and the existential in meeting patients

•Has good communication skills and a positive attitude

If you need to meet us, feel free to contact us. We are ready for an informal chat and a tour if you think this job could be for you.
