High professionalism

In Intensive East 2 you will become skilled! We work with holistic nursing for the critically ill patient, and therefore span from basic nursing to advanced and technological nursing with ABC thinking as well as ventilator- and dialysis treatment. You will take care of it all. It is also expected that you at some point complete the specialist training in intensive nursing.

Teamwork

Although our good staffing enables one nurse per patient, we are strengthened by being a strong team. We provide nursing at top level because we can spar with one another and utilize each other's competencies (new as well as experienced). We are aware that everyone can contribute with knowledge, and that this creates a synergy that greatly lifts the professional level.

Security

No one stands alone! You always have help nearby - both help to solve tasks at the patient, but also for professional sparring and guidance. Furthermore, specialists doctors are present in the department 24/7. It gives security for all - not least for the new in the department. In difficult patient courses and acute situations we look after each other through collegial support, defusing and debriefing.

Collegial community

We value and protect the community in our department. Our active party committee plans good parties, and we can meet for creative evenings, hikes, dining or cinema trips. We even have our own festival. Unity, laughter and coziness characterise us.

Control of things

In Intensive East 2 we have a thorough and extended training program, so that as a newcomer you have plenty of time to get things under control. You are not counted in the staffing the first 8-10 weeks depending on brought competencies. There are accompanying days throughout the first year of employment, and we have arranged teaching, theme days, simulation training and mentor program.

Alignment between private life and work life

We work with wish plans, and we help each other individually. We know that balance in life creates well-being and quality in the work.

Intensive East consists of 3 wards: East 1, East 2 and East 3, where we together have 21 beds. East 2 handles 7 beds. Our specialties are within Gastrointestinal surgery, Liver diseases, Blood diseases, Cancer diseases and Skin and Venereal diseases.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with applicable collective agreement. Employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record certificate and a satisfactory authorization.
