About the job

Do you want to work with rehabilitation as an integrated part of citizens' everyday life?

Do you want to help shape the future of the close-to-citizens health care system, as the Health and Care Places in Horsens from 1 January 2027 become part of Citizen-Centred Health under Horsens Regional Hospital?

We are looking for two occupational therapists who are motivated by complex citizen journeys, strong interdisciplinary collaboration and the opportunity to make a real difference for citizens' functioning, independence and quality of life.

Be part of creating something new

Citizen-Centred Health has been established as part of the health reform and will take on new regional tasks close to citizens.

The Health and Care Places will become an important part of this development, where we will create cohesive pathways for citizens with complex needs.

As an occupational therapist you will have a central role in building the rehabilitative efforts. You will be part of a multidisciplinary environment where the citizen's goals, resources and ability to master their own life are the focal point of our work.

We work from a rehabilitative approach, where training and development of functional abilities do not only take place in planned training situations, but are an integrated part of the entire stay. Therefore you will be an important partner in holistic care.

Your tasks will include

  • Occupational therapy assessments and evaluations of functional ability
  • ADL assessments and training based on the citizen's own goals
  • Assessment of the need for assistive devices and compensatory solutions
  • Interdisciplinary coordination and planning of citizen pathways
  • Guidance for citizens, relatives and collaboration partners
  • Documentation and follow-up on interventions

We expect that you

Are a licensed occupational therapist and thrive in complex citizen pathways where close interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues and external partners is crucial to create the best solutions for the citizen.

We place importance on you

  • Work rehabilitatively with a focus on the citizen's resources and coping
  • Thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Can create an overview and act in a changing everyday life
  • Are curious about development and new knowledge
  • Contribute positively to the community and the work environment

Therefore you should choose us

With us you get the opportunity to become part of a strong multidisciplinary team with high ambitions on behalf of the citizens.

We offer

  • A thorough induction program
  • Skilled and dedicated colleagues
  • A high degree of professional autonomy
  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Focus on well-being, learning and psychological safety
  • Opportunity to influence the development of a new department and new solutions

Employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week.

The Health and Care Places are a service to citizens every day of the week. Occupational therapists will therefore eventually be included in planned day shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
