About the job

As our previous colleague has sought new paths, we are now seeking an occupational therapist with neurological competencies for a permanent position with start date 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Are you motivated by working with neurological citizens in inpatient rehabilitation and helping citizens regain function and daily life[CM1.1]?

Can you feel the energy when a citizen succeeds at something that seemed impossible? And do you thrive in a team where we have fun with each other, share knowledge and spar in everyday life? Then you have landed on the right job advertisement.

This is something I can see myself becoming part of – but what are my most important tasks:

  • Systematic assessment, testing and goal setting in collaboration with the citizen[CM2.1]
  • Ensure a holistic approach with involvement of relatives and relevant collaborators, including care and brain injury coordinators
  • Professional sparring and knowledge sharing[CM3.1] with colleagues in the team and brain injury coordinators.
  • Contributes to the ongoing professional development of the department's operations.

Your upcoming team You will be part of a team consisting of 2 physiotherapists and 2 occupational therapists within the neurological specialty. The team primarily handles rehabilitation of neurological citizens at a specialized and advanced level.

We have another therapy professional team on the temporary 24-hour placements, here are 4 physiotherapists and 3 occupational therapists. We also have clinical instructors, administrative and practical staff. You[CM4.1] will daily work closely with the care staff and the nurses in the department.

You will have a leader who trusts you, and is interested in your perspective and values your input highly.

At the same time we offer a workplace that places a high value on community, relationships and care. We help each other through busy periods and difficult citizen cases, and together we create good citizen pathways based on each citizen's needs, resources and potential.

What we offer you

  • A strong professional and social community with a high degree of influence on development and operation
  • Professional and personal development through internal and external courses
  • A learning environment with clinical teaching and research projects
  • A work environment characterized by respect, inclusivity and job satisfaction with opportunities for sparring and professional guidance, and where it is important to us that you feel you belong in the team.

We envision that you

  • Are trained as an occupational therapist with experience or interest within the neurological field[CM5.1].
  • Work systematically with documentation and goals, so you achieve the full potential of the citizen pathways, with a holistic approach and the citizen at the center
  • Work independently and are responsible, are good at planning and prioritizing your tasks and provide/receive sparring with/from the team and other colleagues in our Center for Health and Elderly
  • Thrive on being professionally curious, and actively contribute to the community while you are open to development and change
