Blood tests and Biochemistry are always in motion, and we balance the urgent tasks where things move quickly with the calmer planned tasks for ambulatory and hospitalized patients. We therefore seek authorized bioanalysts who thrive in an unpredictable workday, motivated by direct patient contact and clinical biochemistry.

The positions are 37 hours/week with a full shift program, starting January 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Practical information

Working hours are 37 hours per week and involve shift participation with alternating shifts and a weekend shift approximately every 4th weekend. The shift pattern is arranged primarily according to individual preferences.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the agreement between the Regions and Danish Bioanalysts.

Note: Employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record check and valid authorization.

Staffing level of about 170 positions distributed among bioanalysts, laboratory technicians, social and healthcare assistants, nurses, secretaries, biochemists and doctors.

We have laboratory activity in Gødstrup and decentralised sample collection in Holstebro, Lemvig, Ringkøbing, Brande and Tarm.

The department is accredited by DANAK under DS/EN ISO 15189:2022.

Regionshospitalet Gødstrup is located close to Herning, with a motorway exit right by the hospital. There are good public transport options directly to the hospital. There is free staff parking.
