On-call substitutes sought for Børnehusene Stjernen – North Department

The Stjernen Children's Homes, Nord Department, are seeking dedicated on-call substitutes who can step in during illness, holidays and other absence. We are looking for you who want to become part of our everyday life and help create security, presence and good experiences for children and young people with complex disabilities. You do not need a specific education; the most important is that you are caring, responsible and eager to work with children and young people with special needs.

About the Stjernen Children's Homes

The Stjernen Children's Homes are part of Handicapcenter Fyn and consist of three departments: North Star, South Star and West Star. We are a specialized 24-hour facility for children and young people up to 24 years old with various and complex disabilities. For the children and young people, Stjernen is their home. Therefore, our most important task is to create a safe, meaningful and developmental everyday life with room for each individual.

As an on-call substitute you will, among other things

• create security, presence and good relationships
• support the children and the young people in their daily life and activities
• assist with personal care and practical tasks
• support structure, communication and predictability
• collaborate with your colleagues
• dokumentere relevante observationer og indsatser
• contribute to a safe and homely atmosphere.

Therefore you will receive a structured onboarding process, where you are thoroughly introduced to the children and the young people, the tasks, the collaboration and our professional methods .

Practical information

There is the possibility of day, evening, weekend and possibly night shifts, depending on the department's needs and your wishes.

We emphasize that you are flexible and can step in when needed, but of course we take your possibilities and wishes into account.

Salary and terms of employment: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the agreement. i overenskomsten.
