Operations Manager for South Jutland & Funen

Jydsk Miljø Rengøring A/S is seeking an experienced and engaged operations manager for our area from Vejle and further down through South Jutland and Funen.

You will play a central role in the organization and act as the link between customers, service managers, employees and the rest of the management. Your responsibility will be to ensure stable operations, high cleaning quality, good financial performance and professional customer service in your area.

Two service managers report directly to you.

Your primary duties

As operations manager you will have the overall responsibility for our existing and upcoming contracts in the area – for both municipal/public customers and private business customers.

Your tasks include, among others

• Leadership, sparring and follow-up with the two service managers.
• Overall responsibility for daily operations and the staff on the contracts.
• Staffing, resource planning, as well as follow-up on hours worked, absence and vacation.
• Financial follow-up on the individual contracts with a focus on hours, resources and profitable operations.
• Planning and implementation of new customer starts.
• Quality control and follow-up on deviations.
• Continuous customer contact as well as operations and status meetings.
• Handling of operational challenges and customer inquiries.
• Introduction and follow-up on new employees in collaboration with the service managers.
• Follow-up on occupational health and safety, safety, ergonomics, chemistry and equipment.
• Close collaboration with administration, sales and the company's other management.

CleanManager as a working tool

We work digitally with our operations, and CleanManager will become a central tool in your daily work.

You will, among other things, use the system for planning, staff management, working hours, documentation, quality follow-up and the general management of the contracts.

Experience with CleanManager or similar systems is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you are IT-savvy and work in a structured way.

We are looking for you who know the cleaning industry

For us, experience and understanding of professional cleaning operations are more important than a specific educational background.

We envision that you

• Have several years of experience from the cleaning industry, facility service or similar.
• Have experience as e.g. operations manager, operations director, area manager or supervisor.
• Have solid experience with people management and preferably with management through others.
• Have experience with larger cleaning contracts and preferably both municipal/public contracts and private business customers.
• Have an understanding of contracts, work plans, cleaning frequencies and resource management.
• Have financial understanding and can follow up on hours and operations.
• Be strong in customer contact and relationship building.
• Work in a structured, independent manner and follow up tasks through to completion.
• Maintain an overview in a day-to-day with changing priorities.
• Be visible and accessible to both service managers, employees and customers.
• Have good IT skills and preferably experience with CleanManager.
• Communicate confidently in Danish and preferably in English.
• Hold a valid driving license category B.

An independent daily life close to operations

You will spend a large part of your working day with customers and together with the operations organization.

Some days will consist of customer meetings, financial follow-up and quality controls, while others may involve new customer starts, personnel management or urgent operational challenges.

The work is mainly during daytime hours, but as needed there may be work outside normal office hours in connection with, for example, start-ups, quality follow-up or special operational situations.

A considerable amount of driving in the area can be expected.
