Pedagogue for the infant group at Gylling Childcare House Do you dream of a everyday life close to the children, the parents and colleagues – in a small daycare with a strong sense of community?

At Gylling Childcare House we are looking for a trained pedagogue for our infant group. Here you will have the opportunity to become an important part of a compact and warm daycare where relationships, play, security and communities are the driving forces of our pedagogical practice.

The position is 30-37 hours per week with employment starting on 1 January 2027

Welcome to a daycare with soul, presence and strong communities Gylling Childcare House is an integrated institution for 0-6 years with about 50 children distributed across two kindergartens and one infant group. We are located in an old house with plenty of soul and charm, and we have a lovely playground that provides good opportunities for play, movement and immersion.

We are located next to the school and use, among other things, their gym hall, library and sports ground. At the same time, we are an active part of a village community where parental cooperation and contact with the local environment matters a lot.

The pedagogical foundation We are part of Dagtilbud Vest, which consists of nine daycare houses, resource groups, pedagogical facilitators and a daycare leader. In Gylling Childcare House we also have our own pedagogical leader close to everyday life.

Our core task is to create play and learning communities where all children can participate, thrive and develop. We work resource-oriented and are focused on every child experiencing themselves as valuable and meaningful participants in the community.

We meet children as unique individuals and support them in joining safe, binding and developing communities. Therefore, positive child communities, present adults and strong relationships are central in our work. We are trained in ICDP and Tryghedscirklen (Circle of Security), which are important parts of our common professional approach.

A daily life with recognizability, presence and room for initiative In the infant group we work with fixed routines, small groups of children and pedagogical activities based on the children’s needs, perspectives and interests. We create a recognizable everyday life where the children can feel secure, become curious and gain courage to participate.

We actively use our spaces, both indoors and outdoors, and we are fond of trips, the playground and the opportunities in the local environment. As a pedagogue with us you will influence planning, development and qualification of the pedagogical practice.

You will become part of an experienced staff group where we help each other, collaborate across borders and take joint responsibility for creating the best conditions for the children.

We are looking for you, who are passionate about infant pedagogy We are seeking a pedagogue who wants to be close to the youngest children’s development, play, relationships and first experiences with communities. You may be professionally curious, initiative-taking and keen to create a daily life with both calm, joy, care and development.

• have knowledge of ICDP and Tryghedscirklen – or a desire to learn more and train in the area
• prioritize good parent collaboration and actively take responsibility for dialogue with families

You will have the opportunity to actively participate in planning and development of the daycare’s pedagogical practice with a basis in the strengthened pedagogical curricula and Odder Municipality’s Children and Youth Policy. In Dagtilbud Vest our shared pedagogical foundation is built on five building blocks: togetherness, mastery, formation, curiosity and joy.

We offer weekly preparation time, fixed group meetings and monthly staff meetings. We have quarterly well-being conversations between employee and day-to-day leader.

You will also become part of both the close community in Gylling Childcare House, the larger community in Dagtilbud Vest and Odder Municipality.
