Educator sought for Børnehuset Bækdalens Preschool in Hornslet

Børnehuset Bækdalen, together with Børnehuset Ågården, Hornslet Vest Dagtilbud . We are seeking a trained pedagogue for the kindergarten. It is a permanent position, originally 37 hours per week; the hourly rate can be discussed when we find the right person. Start date is December 1, preferably earlier if possible.

We are an integrated institution with up to 60 kindergarten children and 24 toddlers. We are a one-house facility with a divided layout in the kindergarten. The children are distributed into 3 core groups, where the upcoming schoolchildren are gathered into one group.

We have a house from 2008 and 2026 at the end of a lovely green area. We have an exciting house in development. The playground is large with steep slopes and many play possibilities. The local area offers good trips and experiences in both nature and town. We have some fantastic children and parents with many resources and high engagement.

Our core task

In Hornslet Vest Dagtilbud we show care and create safety and well-being through an affirming approach, where the child experiences friendships and being part of the community.

We focus on developing our collaboration culture. Pedagogically, we focus on developing play environments. We have a strong parental cooperation, and colleagues with varying experience. With us we prioritize: creativity, play and imagination. We find creativity in play, in the workshop, on the playground, on trips and in topics/theme days and periods. The children are in focus and we adjust to them.

Like the rest of the Municipality of Syddjurs, we work with VLS (Vi Lærer Sammen), which is a method that particularly supports children's social and linguistic development. Our core task is to provide proximity, care and safety .

You must be stable and able to collaborate across large and small communities. You must be flexible regarding changes in working hours and willing to take on open and closing shifts. Your working hours will be between 6:30 and 17:00 (16:00). As an employee in our integrated institution, you must be able to work with children across the full 0–5 year range within the entire daycare. The position is tied to the daycare, with service at Børnehuset Bækdalen until further notice.
