Langeland Municipality's specialized school offer

Skrøbelev School is seeking a colleague, with start as soon as possible, as we have received more pupils. The position is a permanent appointment for 37 hours per week.

Skrøbelev School is located near Rudkøbing, in rural surroundings, but within walking distance of the town.

Langeland Municipality established Skrøbelev School on 1 January 2011 in order to enable an earlier and more coherent effort for our children.

The school is a specialized school offer for children from kindergarten to 7th/8th grade with socio-emotional difficulties, specific learning problems, combined with contact and attachment difficulties. The school provides teaching in accordance with the Folkeskole Act.

At Skrøbelev School there are currently - 1 morning SFO, 3 teachers, 2 educators, 1 educational assistant in a maternity cover, 1 maintenance helper and 1 principal employed.

It is absolutely necessary for our work and in close collaboration with parents and external partners. We actually succeed only if we work together to develop each individual child within their zone of proximal development.

We sense that you are familiar with the narrative approach, where externalizing language and the view of the child is: "The child is not the problem, the problem is the problem", but are also interested in neuroaffectivity. This is part of the foundation Skrøbelev School rests on, but you should know that we also value what you can contribute in particular. We want to utilize all professional and staffing competencies as flexibly as possible, in order to create the best possible learning and development environment – even though the day could often be different than you imagine.

Now you may be wondering if it is only pedagogy and methods we work with? No, you will also help support differentiated and individual learning pathways, as we are a school under the Folkeskole Act. In addition, we would love if you could contribute with music, outdoor life, creativity, or crafts. Outdoor life is a crucial part of our identity. We have fixed weekly outdoor days all year round and a 9-person bus, so a standard driving license is required.

You will certainly be familiar with working in self-managing teams and you will insist that you must cooperate. Just as you can work independently and cross-functionally in meaningful documentation work.

Salary and employment

The position is a permanent appointment for 37 hours per week, with start as soon as possible.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and principles for local pay formation.

Salary is determined by individual negotiation, with expected starting point in Collective Agreement for Pedagogical Assistants and Pedagogical Helpers .

Start salary is expected to lie between DKK 29,400-32,300 per month (excluding pension), depending on experience/length of service.

In addition, there will be opportunities for negotiation of individual allowances based on relevant competencies.

Note: Employment is conditional on satisfactory criminal record and child protection clearance.
