Welcome to Grantoften

Grantoften is an area of the overall Klub Ballerup with many different opportunities for children and young people. Here you will have the management responsibility for Grantoften Leisure Club/Construction Playground and our satellite in Rugvænget.

In Leisure Club/Construction Playground the children encounter, among other things, a cafe, gaming, creative activities, sports, a cozy room and various communities. In addition, there are large outdoor spaces, animal care, riding activities, house-building, role-play and plenty of room to explore and create. In Rugvænget children and young people encounter a smaller club environment with, among other things, creative activities, gaming, billiards, table tennis and common activities.

That gives you as a leader an exciting task: to create coherence between different club environments while safeguarding the local character and the strong traditions. And to create coherence and a good, safe transition from BFO to leisure club and from leisure club to youth club, in close collaboration with the pedagogical leader of the Youth Club.

Your main tasks

As an educational leader you will lead closely to practice. You will be responsible for the daily pedagogical leadership and development of your sites, and together with the staff you must create good conditions for children and young people to experience well-being, development, participation and meaningful communities. This means that as an educational leader you will:

• Lead the daily pedagogical and personnel leadership
• Be close to the staff and support their professional development through sparring, dialogue and clear leadership
• Set the direction for the pedagogical work and translate shared goals into practice
• Support strong, inclusive and binding communities
• Ensure that children and young people get a real opportunity to influence their club and leisure life
• Have an eye for both the individual child and the community
• Actively work with children and young people in vulnerable positions and work on inclusion, development and well-being for children with special needs, in collaboration with the support team in the club
• Develop a close and constructive collaboration with parents
• Strengthen collaboration with school, BFO, SSP and other partners
• Be responsible for the local operating economy and ensure coherence between resources, pedagogical goals and operations
• Contribute to activities, events and development tasks across Klub Ballerup.

You will become part of a strong leadership community

Klub Ballerup is in the process of building a new shared club culture. As an educational leader you will be part of a leadership collective with 10 educational leaders and club leader Brian Nordahl Høiberg.

We believe that good leadership becomes better when we do not stand alone. Therefore we actively use each other for sparring, reflection, development and joint problem solving. You must therefore both be able to stand strong as a leader on your own sites and want to contribute to the collective.

The new organization should provide better opportunities to share knowledge, develop practice and learn from each other across. We are ambitious on behalf of children and young people – and we also want a workplace where people help each other and can be human in the leadership role.

Hiring process and salary

The employment date is January 1, 2027.

The position is essentially 37 hours and is a permanent position.

• 1st interview: Tuesday, November 17
• 2nd interview: Tuesday, November 24

The exact interview dates will be announced in connection with the invitation to the interview.

We offer pay and employment terms according to the collective agreement for pedagogically educated leaders in municipalities.

Employment is by the principles of local pay formation and after agreement with the negotiating rights organization.

The salary range for the position as pedagogical leader is 47,334 DKK per month without pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is determined through negotiations between the employer and the trade organization with negotiating rights on the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
