Day-to-day Pedagogical Leader at Bedsted Children's Center

We are indeed seeking an engaged and visionary leader as of April 1, 2027.

A leadership role with both heart and direction

As daily pedagogical leader you will be responsible for the academic, personnel and operational leadership of Bedsted Children's Center. You will become a central driver in the continued development of our pedagogical practice and will help ensure high quality, strong relationships and a safe everyday life for children, staff and parents.

In our view, good leadership is created close to practice. Therefore the position combines strategic leadership tasks with pedagogical hours among the children, so you maintain insight into day-to-day life and are visible in the house.

You will become part of a strong leadership community consisting of eight daily pedagogical leaders and one area leader, where sparring, collaboration and joint development are important values.

Your main tasks

You will among other things

• set a clear pedagogical direction and translate common goals into local practice
• support high professional quality through sparring, reflection and follow-up
• lead professional learning communities and strengthen a systematic evaluative culture
• exercise relational leadership with focus on staff well-being and professional development
• ensure structure, organization and clear communication
• be a visible and present leader in daily life
• create safety, engagement and a sense of community for children, staff and parents
• actively contribute to the development of the entire area in close collaboration with colleague leaders and area leaders.

Bedsted Children's Center is part of Area Løgumkloster and Toftlund, which consists of the area institution Markledets Børnehus in Løgumkloster and eight branches distributed in Løgumkloster, Ballum, Bedsted, Bredebro, Visby, Øster Højst and Toftlund.
